Has anyone ever gotten a good display? I’m on my 5th or 6th replacement and this is what it looks like.
I guess I was pretty lucky with my launch day 13 Pro Max as it has a really good display. I guess I got the elusive unicorn 13 Pro Max 😂.

this is a 13 mini, and I know not a pro, but does the white tint look pretty uniform in this photo?

looks better than lots of others I think:

That is pretty much how my 13 Pro Max display looks like, nice and uniform.

Hi guys, what do you think about my display? In real life it’s slightly less noticeable, and that tint appears only at some brightness levels, I think it peaks at that value. Should I return my phone? What’s your opinion

Anyone ready to jump back on the device replacement train with the 14 Pro series? I'm thinking about pre-ordering two devices just in case...

It shouldn't have to be this way and I want to just preorder one phone and be done with it.

haha. Good luck. I don't plan on upgrading to the 14 series, I'll just continue to use my 13 pro max. Maybe you should order like 20 of them and cherry pick one. what if you ended up with 2 lemons instead? lol

Thought I'd update this. I posted at the beginning of the year about my iPhone 13 Max Pro. The first one Apple sent me was pretty bad with a noticeable difference in brightness between areas of the screen. The replacement wasn't 100% but much better and I kept it.

But I still notice a difference in brightness between the top and bottom of the screen when the backlight is very low. Typically this is when I'm using Books in bed at night, when my wife is asleep and I deliberately turn the backlight down to avoid disturbing her. The sepia/cream background causes it to be obvious. On a white background, much less so. TrueTone makes it worse, but even so I prefer to leave that on.

Limited to two preorders and 6 orders per Apple ID per month. We’ll see how it goes but if I’m 7+ phones deep I might just keep my 13 PM.

Looks like green is the color of the year. In real life everything looks fine except for a green-white blob near the top left where the mobo is. Phone is restoring so maybe it will get less prominent

Doesn’t seem visible in normal use case scenarios so far but I do see a red tinge toward the bottom when using dark mode apps. Will have to see how bothered I am going forward with more use

What test image are you using?

what model is this? Just got my 14PM and spent about 20 minutes doing uniformity test with different setup of true tone, brightness and contrast. Found nothing of concern.

If I hold my 13PM next to my 14PM, you can very clearly see a hue shift to blue if you arent looking straight at the phone. If I tilt them both just a little, my 13PM stays perfectly white while my 14PM immiedatitly shifts to blue. Its not terrible and I think I will get used to it. I'm going to compare it to my wifes 14PM when she gets home from work.

Update: after my phone cooled down the prominent green/white blob went away. There's still some slight green in the same area at room temp but nothing that stands out. Happy with my display and I'll be keeping this one 🙂
