What a ****ing joke. Apple Pay was removed by default in my ‘pre-order setup’. Had to re-add everything which bumped shipping back a month, and still can’t place the order. Error error error.

Got the first minute it opened, but my Space Gray Pro Max 512 still coming Sept 28th. Not that waiting 10 more days is a big deal, but wonder if due to a more common color and storage. Or if doing the trade-in impacts.

Same! I had my iPhone 13 Pro, iPad Pro and my Mac Studio all refreshing like crazy. The iPad came first but I didn't have my credit card saved and I tried entering it manually (to which it failed for some reason). Luckily the iPhone booted up and it worked with my saved card. Phew.

Took until 7:05 for the app to open for me. I kept trying store pickup and it kept resetting. By the time I switched to Delivery, shipping was at Sept. 26-28th. My store still shows pickup available for the 16th but I’m locked-in because of the iPhone Upgrade Program. Just another year of poor access on Apple’s part.

I was a little nervous because I wasn’t able to do the pre-pre-order (wasn’t available if planning to trade in an older phone to AT&T) and I know very well how much of a difference that makes compared to starting your whole order from scratch as soon as the store goes live in the morning…

BUT it was actually pretty painless! The store went live within a couple of minutes and I didn’t have any hiccups trying to get in or place my order. Apple must have really beefed up their servers over the past few years.

Only thing is when I was checking out, it said I would be getting the phone on the 16th and now on the order details page it’s saying it’s actually showing up on the 23rd. I really hope that corrects itself and moves back. Also, it’s saying it’s showing up by postal service? I thought iPhone deliveries were always by UPS

Yeah the pre-order set up in the App made this ridiculously quick and easy. Just two clicks and my 256GB pro purple is ordered. I like that they let you add accessories too this go around. I also ordered some Pro 2nd gens. Apple Christmas is almost better than real Christmas!

Can anyone else in Australia not submit the order? Keeps ending up on a page not found screen when trying to progress through the checkout. Same on the app and browsers, whether logging in to my AppleID or as a guest.

For anyone else crawling out of bed to do this with the iPhone upgrade program, you'll need to enter your CC before you finish checking out since the upgrade program financing doesn't include taxes and first payment and the card info is not saved.

My buddy and I were chatting. He did not do the pre order on the Apple Store app and I did. Mine is a launch day phone and he got his done 30 seconds later and got the dreaded Sep 27-Sep30 delivery date. I wonder if those that did the apple store app pre order got to the head of the line?

This may not be true. My friend overseas was able to order one 3 minutes before me (US). I kept getting the Almost There message and he texted me a screenshot of his order. So obviously it went live in sections.
