IPhone 14 Pro Max, first day of use after purchase: 8 hours 1/2 of active screentime and heavy use of Facetime, Youtube and Spotify. Then 3 1/2 hours of idle status. I would say that’s very, very good. Never had a phone that lasted that long with that much active use. My iPhone 12 lasted around 4 hours of active time and then it would leave me stranded.

my 14 pro max has amazing battery life, the same as my 13 pro max before it. Yesterday I had 7 hours SOT and only just went under 50% battery. That was including some gaming on it as well.

can you post a picture of your battery graph?
Sure!

As you can see as well for another example, it says last charged to 88% 2 hours ago and it's still sitting at 87% lol. only reason it was plugged in at all was for my apple car play, it maybe went up 1% as I only went down the road lol.

Last year I owned first the 13 Pro Max than the normal 13 Pro. Both had great battery life. This year I first went with the regular 14 Pro and was kind of shocked about the miserable battery performance. I turned off the always on display and for 2 to 3 months it didn't get better. A few days ago I bought the 14 Pro Max to be able to return to a great battery experience again.

Can you post a picture of your battery graph for reference?

Idk why people are Sayings it’s good unless there a bunch with defective batteries
Maybe it depends on from which phone people were coming from. The battery of the 14 pro might be good for some people but I had the 11 Pro and the 13 Pro before and maybe I was just spoiled by those phones.
