It still goes lower than 60hz but not over 60hz as that draws more powerAnd that why Apple stated that low power mode disables pro-motion on Pro models? Why would they disable pro motion if it’s actually more efficient for the battery.

Thanks this is what I was wondering. It still goes lower than 60hz but not over 60hz as that draws more power
It’s not. At least very few of them bought it.A lot of people have small hands and really don't like the old design of SE. So the Mini is really a great device for their particular use case.
I think Apple bringing it back must have been based on some studies. So maybe it didn’t sell so well for some other reason. Probably it was the battery or being priced too close to the normal sized one. It’s not. At least her few of them bought it.
As I said in another post: even women wich often have smaller hands prefer larger screens. It’s a theoretical issue, in real life almost nobody cares about single handed use. They’d rather attach one of these grips to the back of their phone than to buy a smaller size.
Sure they did some analysis but that doesn’t mean anything. You cannot predict everything that way and they failed many times before, from Ping to HomePod. Sometimes you have to try a product and sometimes you’ll fail.I think Apple bringing it back must have been based on some studies. So maybe it didn’t sell so well for some other reason. Now they got proof it’s a niche product for the few nerds who want the latest tech in an unusual small form factor.
Regular customers mostly want a big screen, good camera and the rest isn’t that important.
I am sure they will increase the SE in size too.
I kind of feel that Mini still has a market just not enough to have an annual release. Just like SE and iPad Mini. Maybe they will rotate Mini and Plus models. Could work out well for all of those looking for these not so popular products.Sure they did some analysis but that doesn’t mean anything. Smaller phones sell reasonable numbers, but a lot of that is due to low cost. Unfortunately, the mini doesn't really fit into that low cost category. In the mini's price group, the regular iPhone non-Pro sold many, many, many times more than the mini of the same generation. This is global sales, BTW.More than a few nerds and the smaller phones sell well internationally, I think anyway, in India I believe, anyway I'm not the normal case, I hate smartphones, when I can no longer use the Iphone SE 2016, I'll either go with an Apple Watch Ultra or Samsung Flip or the Apple Flip when they create one because they will, but I can't be bothered with those giant bricks, and yeah for now more people prefer the bricks, but you don't know if the pendulum will swing in the future.
I appreciate that but not sure that everyone would see the extra benefits of the pro phones as that big a deal. While I can appreciate the number crunching in an effort to micro-budget, and the discretion in wise consumer product selection; I don’t think mulling over spending an extra $200 for a much better cellphone experience is a worthy exercise if you’re already spending $900 plus tax.
I.e. If saving money is a concern, and features don’t really concern you, then get a used 8+, or a Google Pixel: no one needs to spend $900 on a cellphone unless they want the cutting edge tech, which the 14 does not deliver.
Yes. If they don’t upload content frequently, the algorithm stops recommending and featuring them in the first page of search resultsYoutube profitability relies on regular content so it's surprising that they make lots of videos.

this is a great observation, I haven't looked at it this way before and it's absolutely true. too bad most people on the internet will hate you just for seeing it differently6GB RAM and light weight aluminum makes this a great phone for parents and grandparents in my opinion
Don't you think it might be because its new and not been rigorously used like your 13 ?Today my 14 Plus has been off charge since 6.55am.
It’s now 10.55pm, I have 10 hours 8 minutes of screen time, been a lot of you tube while workingso it’s been a really heavy use day.
Battery is still on 12%.
I think that is really impressive. My 13 I would have had to of charged to get through a day like that.
