Wow, considering I'm coming from an iPhone XR the display on the 13" I now have already seems glorious.
I'll be getting the pro in september and I can't wait.

I still think this is all just speculation and this dude will be wrong again, I just don't see them going away from their iconic notch, they brought it to the new Macbook Pro's. I'm still calling notch for iPhone 14, that's my prediction.

It’s only me seeing the notch here???

Others in the supply chain are also saying the same thing.

iconic or not it’s time to move on from the notch from a design point of view.
They could be right and only time will tell, but from a technology and branding point of view, it’s not time to move on from a design standpoint at all. If and when they can eliminate the notch completely, I’d agree with you that it’s time to move on from the notch.

Correct! So many people would appreciate the Touch ID. Even the one with iPad Air has… or how about under the screen Touch ID?
I would like both concurrently. A cool thing would be to have different levels of unlock for Touch ID and Face ID. So, if you have to give the phone to somebody.....commuting, Airport/TSA/customs, cops, etc, it will only unlock what you want them to have access to. Eventually everything will be on your mobile device and little to nothing to carry in a physical wallet.

When they get rid of the notch they’ll be walking away from one of their biggest design flubs ever.

Face ID during a global pandemic of a respiratory disease is another huge error but Apple seems content to make us keep muddling through with the wrong biometrics.
Global pandemic is here to stay long term or permanently....sadly 😢

The MBP notch is this generation's Touch Bar. One of those features people buying a used model in years to come will largely ignore and wish wasn't there.
I use the Touch Bar quite often. I have a 2019 13" MBP BTO with every option, it is my company issued laptop with MS O365 and Adobe CC. The Touch Bar is nice for jumping between things in Outlook and Teams meetings.
