It doesn’t show up on max bright, it’s lower/lowest brightness where it is an annoyance, and agreed, it gets bright!

I turned up the brightness because I didn’t notice anything in the lower range. I guess mine is fine.

Went from 12 Pro Max to 13 Pro Max and I noticed the screen got a lot cooler/bluer.

Now going from 13 Pro Max to 14 Pro Max they reverted back to warmer/yellow.

I can’t tell which is more accurate until I put it up next to a XDR display probably. Doesn’t bother me much.

My 14 pro max had a nasty pink tint when you open a grey screen with less than 20% brightness I couldn't unsee it. I ended up returning it, dynamic Island was more a gimmick than I thought and paying an extra 1k was definitely not worth it coming from a 13 pro. I kept returning to the 13 pro unconsciously..

Don’t have a pic unfortunately but my 14 pro max also hued towards red especially top half. At night reading kindle on the beige background it was apparent.

I took a chance on a second pro max and fortunately it’s perfect. I compared both and my wife who isn’t as sensitive to these things noticed the difference as well.

Glad you’re happy with the 13pro it’s a good year to hold onto it. But if you ever did wanna try a 14 max again I’m super happy with my copy now

I may have mentioned on a thread already, but I have done a ton of comparison to other 14 pros now, none of them have this issue, so agreed odds are very good replacement won’t have it. If only I could find one in stock for replacement though.

Yeah I was on the App Store app daily checking every few hours and got lucky with one in stock for pickup. I’d try that route if you have an Apple Store in range, and have it in your cart already for fastest checkout

I’ve been refreshing like crazy for a week, good advice about already having in the cart. I’ll keep trying and thanks!

Here's my iPhone 14 Pro Max next to my iPhone X. First image is a 50% gray image. Screen uniformity seems okay but the yellow tint is really surprising me. Is this normal? By the way, of course, true tone is off on both devices.

I would keep that 14 pro, especially because it’s not overly pink like most of them are. Looks good to me

Thanks for the reply. Maybe the warmer display is indeed normal. Maybe someone who’s also upgrading from an X can tell me if their 14 Pro (Max) display is also more yellow-tinted.

So I try to take a pic of my iPhone 14 Pro Max to show a bit on the uneven screen. I don’t know if this pic shows what I’m talking about. But the top is a little warmer than the bottom.

Is True Tone on?

Is it me or does 14PM lottery seem better than 14 pro on average this go round?
