No, its not...this is a mess, think about the futureAnything is better than a notch more screen back is a good thing, bring it on
If this is true, it is not a good idea. I get it being unique and having the unique look. But who cares, if it looks that bad.
It will be a suppository-shaped hole and a hole-shaped hole
Well, it's not a concept, it's a leak, from a reliable source, and the animosity towards it almost guarantees it's legit. It will be interesting to see how it looks.
The notch has never bothered me. I mean it just sits in the status bar, no big deal.
It does, even if it does not look great. Most people defending the notch are just opposed to the change. If you showed all these same people a picture of the notch and a picture of the pill/hole design before the launch of iPhone X, 100% of them would have chosen the "smaller one that doesn't take up as much of the screen".Still looks better than the notch
Eh, it's still just a phone. The notch or no notch isn't really making a difference. I watch videos on iPad so I can see them.I guess it doesn't bother me that much but I still rather have more actual screen I think? Especially when watching videos.
And what will you use the extra real estate above the cut out for?Much better than the notch. I will buy one. Black background of the notch is a terrible waste of real estate
Nothing you listed is even unique to Apple.“The two hole concept will be unique to Apple”
I miss the times when Apple used to make products look amazing, not “unique to Apple”.
- Gigantic camera bump
- notch
- two unsymmetrical holes
ugh…
What’s next? Car with square tires?
Would certainly be “unique to Apple”
Likely has to do with the polarization of OLED screens and the infrared dot projection. It may never be able to be an under the screen technology. Not that it matters at all, I'm not clamoring for more real estate on my phone - we're truly at the point where nothing matters but battery life as far as I'm concerned. No surprise to be honest. The true “under the the screen” tech probably is not ready yet.
