iPhone 14 Pro iPhone 14 Pro Screen Tint

Finally got one with a good screen. I wasn't aiming for perfect, but this is essentially perfect.

I had a gold 14PM with the aforementioned issues, and I ordered a purple and another gold 14PM, and my plan was to just compare the 3 and go with the one that had the best screen.

I opened the purple first and it was perfect. Won't even bother opening the gold. The golds are going back and I'm finally happy.

The screen on this one is far nicer and more vibrant than the first one as well. Something was definitely not right with the first one.

I set up mine from my dying Xs.
(The Xs display was warmer than the blue white of my preceedent X).
But I just about threw the pro back in the bix to return it when I saw how dismally yellow and old the text was during data transfer.(looked like parchment from the middle ages).
After set up though, it seems to be ok.
The brightness was set really low from the factory, which seems to yellow the text.
Slight irritation now, is that the phone dims the display w/o my input.

That’s what I’m going to do next year. Buy a few lol. Beats going back and forth to store. Very clever idea. 👍🏼
 
Forgot to mention. I called Apple and got another express replacement. Got my third iPhone last week and I’m happy to say I’m very happy with this screen. I don’t notice any uniformity issues. This one is a keeper.

Same for me. This year it took 3 swaps to find the keeper, last year it was about 5 😑
