Placed order for iPhone 15 Pro 512GB Blue Titanium via Apple store app from Seattle area. After multiple errors throughout even though I setup preorder beforehand.
 
Non stop error message when trying using the Apple Store app. Finally worked when I tried using Safari on my Mac.
 
Why are they still so bad about this??
Apple probably builds only ”normal” capacity into their point-of-sale systems and does not see the need to build up for one or two “surge” events a year. Other than the iPhone (and likely the Vision Pro when it launches) it doesn‘t really see these spikes for anything else anymore.

Ordered the Pro Max 512GB in natural titanium literally 2 minutes in, which now appears to have been a lucky fluke because the iPad app and site are still “Almost There” here in Canada

Trying to complete 2 pre orders. Kept getting timeout errors until 1 started giving me an error saying the device I wanted was no longer was available. Kept trying the other one and eventually got the same error. checked email and have order confirmations for both. Never completed the order process.
 
It took me 20 minutes to get in to the Veteran/Military section, but then my order went smoothly.
 
Web store up (Ontario, Canada), Purchase via Apple Pay just went through. Delivers 22nd September.
 
I had lots of trouble on my phone trying order, switched to Brave on my MBP and had zero issues ordering.
 
Had everything ready to go on the Apple site and couldn’t get in so I went thru Verizon for my 512gb iPhone Max and bought my Ultra watch from them as well. 3 years but I have other lines to upgrade if I want another phone.
 
First, I get an error and my pre-order selections are gone. Start over. Next an error that the trade-in service is down. Start over. Try to purchase without a trade-in. Error selecting replace my current phone. Start over. Error after selecting not to replace my current phone. Now a message that the store is down again. How many years has Apple had to get this right?
 
Couldn't get the order through in the app either. Website finally invited me in and order will be delivered the 22nd :)
 
Took a bit to get in (Canada) had no luck on the app.

From what I can tell, straight orders are going through quickly, but anything adding complexity (trade-ins, upgrade program) are causing issues.
No, I did a trade in, and it went through with no hitch.

My order included a trade-in, payment with 2 Apple gift cards and then Apple Pay for the remainder…didn’t process the first time because my pick up window at my local Apple store wasn’t available. Changed the time, clicked Apple Pay and went straight through.
 
Finally got in via the website. The app kept giving the error on "fulfillment".

Apple has that great setup to get you "ready" for your preorder, but constantly drops the ball on the actual preorder completion.
 
Apple Store app is whack this year!
Ordered in Safari on my iPhone. Store also up on desktop Safari.
As of 0824- app still down in Canada.
 
What a complete siht show... The Store app lost my pre entered information and completely crashed. So went to the page had to manually enter the whole thing again. then it crashed. Had to log in to Apple again. Then it froze. Had to enter credit card info. Then it froze again.
Basically 29th of October... So 6 weeks waiting list... Thanks Apple.
