For those stuck getting the error when completing your preorder, just keep trying. I had it repeatedly erroring for the last 20mins. I finally got through to confirming my order and it crashed again. A couple more tries and it worked, smooth as butter once I got to picking my reservation pickup time slot.

It’ll work out for you eventually.

I was not able to get into the site until after 7am this morning. Tried to load my preorder from the Apple Store on my device but kept getting errors. Once it finally got it it said it could not find my preorder that I created and nothing was in my bag. Had to start from scratch but said it had issues when I selected trade in and would keep looping back to the top. Went to the Apple Store on my desktop and was able to complete the purchase without issues it definitely is glitchy this morning.

Finally got on to order my Pro 256GB (Connecticut, USA) via my Mac online store. iPad is still down and iPhone keeps giving errors.

Absolute rubbish, seriously. I had the store open on 3 devices already at 13:55. It opened for me at 14:23 and the earliest delivery for a Pro Max is 4th to 11th October, 2 weeks after launch. Terrible experience.

This is it exactly. It’s a rudimentary queuing system that is basically just throttling, not leveraging a nice waiting room.
