iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro Models Now Available for Pre-Order

I remember waiting in line 9 hours for the iPhone 4 at the Beverly Center in Los Angeles and that was with a pre-registration reservation. I can wait a few minutes in bed on a Friday morning for a website to go live and have them ship me the iPhone a week later. It really is not a problem.

I have had every iPhone since the very first one, ordering or buying on launch day.

Iphone app kept getting error when retrieving my preorder. Was able to complete via the web.
Would be nice when you are on the apple phone program and redo the loan early it just queues your order. Terrible experience every year with the submit your pre-order BS.
 
Got my Blue Tit. Pro 256GB at 7:57 am through the Verizon desktop site. It opened 3 minutes early and I checked-out 30 seconds later.
 
iPhone keep messing up was able to do it on my MacBook, shipping was already showing oct 7 but I changed to store pick up and was able to get it sept 22 pro max 256 white
 
Finally got through!

Honestly, the phones get less exciting every year that I get older. Both the phones themselves and how much I care. The corporate dopamine machine is beginning to wear thin.

It wasn’t made very easy to find that’s for sure. But basically when you scrolled down to the iPhone upgrade program there was a link to check eligibility and then from there was an option to get ready for the preorder where you picked the model you wanted and got pre approved.

been doing this a long time - since the 2nd iPhone release. Store down 25 mins in, upgrade program first available order is in October. This volume isnt a surprise, it's Apple's app, the Apple payment system. Sure, no one dies from a late delivery, but my overall impression is that Apple doesnt have its s*** together. Maybe they do need to all be back in the office, so they can tell each other when the release date/time is. The time, effort, money spent to market product's "apple-ness' all to be dinged by a botched launch.

I had the Apple Store ready to go on my iPhone (App), work iPhone (Safari), and Mac (Safari). Mac worked long before the others, got two orders in (me and my wife), being delivered on day one (22nd)!! :)
 
I tried the store on my computer and the phone. Both had issues. I was able to click place order on the app with 9/22 delivery, where it hung and went back to the “Almost There” splash screen. I was able to click place order on computer for 9/22 delivery, where it did nothing. I eventually got an actual order through on the app but the delivery time slipped back to a range (Oct 9-16), which admittedly is minor in the grand scheme of things, but man did that piss me off!

I was able to get my wife’s order in a moment earlier on her phone for 9/22, so for the first time ever in our household, the tech nerd won’t be getting the phone first. Maybe I try going to an Apple Store on Launch and see feel out if what I want will be in stock. Good luck to the rest of you.
 
What an absolute shower this year for the UK! Opened 10 mins late, only on iPhone (iPad maybe 20 mins). Then they knocked it back offline! Finished ok website and luckily iPhone 14 Pro White 256GB is still coming next Friday.

Looks like all but blue of Pro Max is now slipped into 3-10 Oct and the natural titanium Pro 3-10 Oct too.

Scratch that - now 10+ Oct for all! Pro Max definitely the high demand product this year
 
What a cluster ****!!! As usual. Continued to refresh and lost my preorder. Finally found it and processed. Why do I put up with this ****???

I don’t understand how they can’t prepare for this every year. They know how it works.

iPhone Upgrade program lets you Pre-order ahead of time and just check out when the system comes up. I got 2 emails and a push notification this week reminding me to do it.
 
FFS, tried on iPhone, not able to get order to process, tried on the Macbook, Firefox and Safari, not able to get the order processed, all slightly different errors, but same end point, no order. Guess the universe is trying to tell me !!
Well done Apple, not providing the servers to cope with the level of demand, I seem to remember this same problem on other launches !!
