Launch day 15 Pro. The battery feels ass but seeing the numbers here, I don’t think it’s me - the battery is just ass in general.

88% battery health, 479 cycles.

I got my iPhone 15 on Jan 19, 2024. Right now it says:
-Battery Health says Normal
-Maximum Capacity is 91%
-Cycle Count is at 367

I charge it daily through the USB-C port, mostly charging it when it's at 40-50%, but sometimes it reaches 20% depending on what happens that day.

I will say that the last 2-3 months, which would be some 14-15 months after I bought it, the battery seems to have gotten noticeably worse and drains faster, and I'm not using it any differently than usual.

Mine is still at 89% but yeah nothing what I expected to see on this big 15 PM 😬😬😬
But I bet it has to do with using betas frequently I guess - that’s why I won’t install iOS 26 betas !

Yeah same here with the battery life. I'm at 85% with 344 cycles.

I came from a 11 Pro (best battery life and health), Pixel 6 Pro (pretty bad battery life) and when I upgraded to the 15 Pro it seemed good at first. Once it "broke in" and the health percentage started dropping it's on par or worse than the Pixel. Thankfully I have Applecare because at the rate mine is dropping the battery will be replaced soon.

15 Pro

Cycle Count: 598
Maximum Capacity: 87%
Optimized Battery Charging

The differences... 🤷‍♂️

You‘re not a power user aren’t you?
Nope. Apple Music, Safari, YouTube, mostly light apps. Still, I am impressed because in January 2025 I bought iPad 10 and for 5 months its battery went from 103 to 97% with the same usage pattern.
