before september 22nd i need to use Care+ and then sell this thing and buy the 17 PM (or Ultra)

Wow that’s some cycle count, highest I’ve seen! Apple did say that iPhone 15 series and newer can reach 1000 cycles before getting down to 80% battery health.

Have you noticed a significant decline in battery life? How often do you charge your 15 Pro each day?
This has probably been the best iPhone battery I've ever had. I haven't noticed any decline. I am rarely in my office so I charge my phone a few times a day with the 80% limit, and I never use Wi-Fi. I also stream a lot of video when I'm in the gym doing cardio. I turned off the limit once I reached 82% health.

I haven't been blown away by the 17 Pro rumors yet so maybe I'll just get the battery replaced on this and keep it one more year.

Yeah best battery I've ever had on an iPhone as well. My wife and I both are planning on waiting till the 18... or the 27 or whatever it'll be called lol.

I saw the 17PM should really not bring much new stuff. Maybe 50MP Tele and maybe 8K Video. Alltough i think i better sell my 15 PM in September 2025 with 100% battery than 1 year later with maybe 85-90% and 3 years old. My warranty is also gone in september because 2 year plan not the montly which runs longer if customer wants so.

I've thought about getting the battery replacement then selling mine as well but I am leaning towards waiting 1 more year. I also like the titanium frame, which has zero wear on my phone. It still looks like the day I got it and the only case I use is the Apple clear silicon case.

My friend is in the same boat, he isn't happy about the Titanium change - he really like his 15 Pro Max - looks perfect.

I’m trading mine in and upgrading to the 17PM. My titanium frame has chips and I hate the blue color as soon as I hit 6 months in owning the phone. I’ve been ready for an upgrade.

15 plus
94%
241 cycles
Production: 09.23
First use: 04.24

Getting to 241 cycles at 94% isn’t good because the A16 kills battery life more quickly than any other A series Chips Luckily 15 plus’s battery is 1000 cycles.

My 16e as of now

126 cycle counts
Still on 100%

So happy that A18 is so energy and battery efficient 😁

84%
452 cycles
Won’t hit below 80% to leverage Apple Care for a replacement. As things look, I plan not to upgrade the phone until the 2027 20th anniversary edition.

So I just noticed my battery health dropped to 99% today after it had been holding steady at 100% (nooooooooooo) So I was curious to see what you guys had as cycle counts and health

***For the "stop obsessing about battery crowd"... Yes i know relax yourselves this is just for pure curiousity and entertainment... I am not actually upset about my battery hitting 99% so please calm down***

15PM
Health: 99%
Cycles: 152

purchased on release day.
How do you see your cycles on an iPhone? I know about the Macs, but the phone...?

EDIT: I have the latest updates, but an iPhone 13 Pro Max. Could it be you have this because it's a newer phone?

Yeah a lot of this stuff was added in the last few generation iPhones. For example, the 15 Pro and forward can set charge level to 80% and shows a lot more information in battery health. I thought the 13 Pro Max could too, but I guess not.

Settings —> Battery —> Battery Health - shows everything there for me on my 15 Pro Max.

Without any additional App the Cycles can only be seen from Iphone 15 onwards and i think M4 OLED IPad and newest IPad Mini. Mac Books i know do also show it but i have no clue how new they have to be.

My iPad Air 2025 shows it also
