iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max Shipping Estimates Extend Into November

Apple began accepting pre-orders for the new iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max today, and shipping estimates for the devices on Apple's online store are already beginning to slip into November for many configurations.

As of 7:15 a.m. Pacific Time in the U.S., the iPhone 15 Pro Max is facing up to a 6-7 week shipping estimate for some configurations on Apple's online store, while the iPhone 15 Pro faces up to a 2-3 week delay for some models. The lower-end iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are largely still available for launch-day delivery.

Inventory will inevitably continue to tighten for both delivery and Apple Store pickup as the day progresses, so order quickly if you are planning to.

As is common when iPhone pre-orders begin, some customers have encountered errors while attempting to place their orders on Apple's website or in the Apple Store app, amid the influx in demand. The issues will likely resolve as the day progresses.

iPhone 15 Pro models have several new features, including a USB-C port, lightweight titanium frame, customizable Action button, faster A17 Pro chip manufactured with a 3nm process, up to 5x optical zoom on the Pro Max model, thinner bezels around the screen, Wi-Fi 6E support, an increased 8GB of RAM, and much more.

The devices will launch in stores and begin arriving to customers on Friday, September 22.

Initially got a session expired error when I placed the upgrade order and was sent back to pre order screen. Different errors than success. Got confirmation email. Took 20 min. Pro Max 512 black. Fri. Sept 22 delivery. What a stressful way to order an iPhone.

Saw the same thing two years ago w iPhone 13 pro; shipping estimates showing 4-6 weeks out on launch date. Then I went into best buy a week after release and just bought it in store. This trick is getting old Apple.

My dad got in 5 minutes before me and his (512GB Natural Pro Max) was already back ordered two weeks.

Got my Blue Titanium PRO 256GB @ 7:57 AM through the Verizon desktop site delivered Friday 9/22. Going through the Apple site/app is for 🤡.

its always about demand because if the iPhone 15 Pro were not really worth upgrading to as many alluded to over the past week, the demand just wouldn't be there.

bad experience this year. Even w two preorders. One account made it by 10 mins. Other took 32 minutes of brute forcing App Store.

From Twitter looks like second order barely made the cut off for 9/22 delivery.

All was well until Apple screwed it up big time by not allowing me to add my gift card balance. I had to go back and order like normal instead of using my pre-pre order. Instead of receiving shipment on 09/22 i have to go instore. Other wise i’d receive my iphone on 10/04 .. petty

Same as every year. Here's a tip, go into any Apple Store on launch day morning and you will get WHATEVER SKU you want.
