Wrong. Going through a carrier is for suckers. Buy it from apple it's yours unlocked. Most people here hasn't had a carrier locked phone for years.

Not if you carrier is heavily discounted because of your affiliation with your employer. I've been happy with my carrier for a really long time.

Apple hype to concentrate orders across the world on the same date and time, using apple pre order systems, apple payment plans, apple websites, and apple app- all fail. At some point you have to acknowledge there is a good chance these order issues are manufactured by Apple and are purposeful - to create 'buzz' and scarcity illusion.

I Just cancelled my Apple order and went to my carrier, T-Mobile, ordered there and got double the trade-in $$, lower payments and it arrives on 9/22!!! Apple sucks when it comes to this pre-order thing. All these years and they still fail!!!

Initially got a session expired error when I placed the upgrade order and was sent back to pre order screen. Different errors than success. Got confirmation email. Took 20 min. Pro Max 512 black. Fri. Sept 22 delivery. What a stressful way to order an iPhone.

I was able to complete the preorder by 0504 pacific for a 512 Natural 15pm.

That’s the frustrating part. I had my wife and my phone each ordering our own phones and we weren’t LET IN until 5:15-5:20 or so. Then, the pre-order said it wasn’t available and crashed. Tried reconstructing the order and the site went down again. The clog started to clear by 5:28 and my preorder showed up and allowed me to buy with an October shipping estimate. Yes, I refreshed, reset the app, and tried other devices. Just amazing.

Not the end of the world but pretty embarrassing that your store can have pre-preorders, you can wake up at 5am, get an order in by 5:30 and still be 2 weeks delayed. Smh

That's one of the worst ordering experiences I've ever had. I managed to order a Pro Max in titanium at 14:23, with a delivery date between 4th-11th October when I won't even be in the country. Nearly 30 minutes after I'd opened the store on 3 devices.

But I found one from a local German retailer promising 22nd Sept delivery and I ordered from them too.

Does anybody have experience on by when I'd be able to cancel by Apple pre-order? The web store still barely works for me and my order isn't displayed.

Got my Blue Titanium PRO 256GB @ 7:57 AM through the Verizon desktop site delivered Friday 9/22. Going through the Apple site/app is for 🤡.

This was my experience to a T. I logged on to the VZW web site when I got to work, watched the countdown, clicked through the agreements and that was that. 9/22 delivery.

My only issue was my card got declined by the fraud department of my credit union. I didn't understand it, as I have sufficient funds to cover the early upgrade. So, I went to the old standby. AMEX.

45 min later I get a text from the credit union. "Did you attempt to purchase "X" amount from the VZW web site on this date. I answered yes, but it was a little too late.

I've had some issues with VZW lately. The coverage has been spotty in some places it used to be, and the 5G UW has been slow coming to places I travel in. But in this respect, Big Red got their stuff together.

I was going to pre-order. After that store debacle, I may never again. In fact I think I’ll skip entirely this year. Apple doesn’t deserve it this time around. My 14 Pro is just fine.

Not everyone is home for delivery, delivery times are all over the place with, at least in the US, UPS, or people are out and about during delivery times. . .

Others don’t trust delivery at all

All was well until Apple screwed it up big time by not allowing me to add my gift card balance. I had to go back and order like normal instead of using my pre-pre order. Instead of receiving shipment on 09/22 i have to go instore. Other wise i’d receive my iphone on 10/04 .. petty

wow.. waiting until the 10th of april is outrageous. Good thing for you is that it then probably comes in white.

I was finally able to order blue pro max 256 via the web store and got an order confirmation email, but..... when I click that link to checker order status is claims that order # isn't associated with my Apple ID. I'm hoping that is just a temp glitch.
