Drives me nuts that Apple did so well with iPod colors, every year, and iPhone seems to have so much trouble.
We had some truly amazing looking iPods, just copy those colors.
No one wants what happened to the 14 or 13 or 12 where the Pro model just got a more boring version of the color of the regular iPhone.
But switching it - giving the Pro the good color and diluting it for iPhone is also so lame and boring.
Sell black for the boring people, white for the apple people, and 2-3 good colors for everyone else.

They should match across the whole line. None of this - M package pearlescant white vs the glitter white for the non M series.

I really don't get all the excitement over colors. Is anyone really using these things without a case? I'd like to but I tried it with the iPhone 6 and ended up with a shattered phone, even though I'm a lot more careful than most.
working in wireless in the past, people make a colossal deal about colors. Clear cases or not, purchases are made based on "cool" looking colors...

Wow, Apple finally acknowledging ACTUAL pink colours?

Had no intention to upgrade but if this happens I will 😂

Edit: spoke too soon, why are the pro colours so yawn?
I miss midnight blue

This is petty as hell, but I ***** love my deep purple 14 Pro.

I've been waiting for USB-C iPhone for years and years and years—and yet, I'm considering waiting a while to upgrade not only because I'm typically not a year-over-year iPhone upgrader, but also because the Deep Purple 14 Pro is just too slick.

Red just ain't my jam.

I love my deep purple 14PM, and am not a fan of red, so if it do come out in red along with silver, gold and black, I will definitely sit out on preordering this year. Now if it came in Rose Gold, I’m preordering on day 1.

Yes.

Jony Ive must've hated the world when phone cases became popularized. Industrial designers went through all that effort to design beautiful phones only to have Joe Schmo slap on a $4.99 piece of ugly plastic from Amazon. It's worse than plastic on couches.

Had my iPhone naked since 2007. My "case" is Apple Care. Never had to use it.

I was thrilled when they released a blue flagship/Pro iPhone and have had Pacific Blue, Sierra Blue and now purple…

…But it’s time for me to go back to all black lol or white/silver.

I rather have my iPhone match my personal style and other devices. a nice orange to go with the AW Ultra would be cool though.

I currently have a blue 13Pro and looking to getting a 15 pro. I will of course pick a color that appeals to me - usually a blue shade - then cover it with a wallet case. (Although I could go for orange)
Yeah I know, defeats the whole color thing but when I gave up carrying a purse I needed something for a few important cards and a little emergency cash. I don't like the magnetic wallet that clings to the back of the phone - I would definitely end up loosing it.
But I will still agonize over the color of the iPhone and then the color of the wallet case - it must be an OSD thing?

I’ve been caseless since iPhone 4. Was never a fan of the plastic backs pre iPhone 4 and i just love the phones without a case. I broke one screen on my X but other than that it’s been fine. I’m pretty careful with my things and I’m always aware. I dropped my X at a bar from hip height and caught its fall on my foot but it made a hairline crack across the screen. Not bad for almost 10 years of being without a case.

I use a bumper case with my 13 mini. So the drop protection is solid and the glass and camera are raised off of surfaces, but the back is completely uncovered.

With every iteration of the iPhone, Apple changes the available color options, often introducing a special color or set of colors that set new iPhones apart from the prior generation. With the iPhone 14 Pro, Apple introduced a dark purple, while the standard iPhone 14 was offered in a purple shade.

Apple's iPhone 15 and 15 Pro models will also come in unique colors, and 9to5Mac says that an unnamed source indicates Apple is working on iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models in a dark red, which is close to a burgundy shade. The color hex code is #410D0D, described as a dark sienna.

The standard iPhone 15 models could be available in new dark pink and bright, light blue colors. The pink shade, color hex code #CE3C6C is a deeper pink described as "telemagenta." The blue, color hex code #4DB1E2, is described as "picton blue."

The dark red shade that Apple may have planned for the iPhone 15 Pro models would likely be accompanied by standard (PRODUCT)RED devices in a brighter shade, along with more traditional shades close to silver/gold and space gray. iPhone 15 models could have more color options, including colors akin to red, black, and white.

Apple's dark red color would presumably be offered for the titanium finish rumored for the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. Apple so far has released titanium Apple Watch models in a standard silver titanium color and a darker titanium color, but red anodization would be entirely new.

According to 9to5Mac's source, the information on the color options is "still early" and "could change" closer to the fall, so the colors shared could be off. As Apple plans devices well in advance of when they launch, design choices will likely be solidified in the near future. Apple is expected to begin the EVT (engineering validation test) phase of iPhone 15 production in March.

Unless it’s one of those deep metallic pear color, otherwise it should be one of those AIDS supporter’ color. But dark red is not the same color as the product red color, which usually is released during the product’s midterm release period.

I would definitely buy if it’s the deep metallic pearl color.
