Why is there so much excitement over new iPhone each year? When was the last game-changer feature introduced? It's basically the same device in different colors each year and Apple has its fanboys drooling over nothing
This year is kind of a big deal with the shift to USB-C. Many iPhone users including myself have been wanting this for a LONG time now.

The main reason I didn't upgrade my phone last year is that I knew USB-C would be coming this year. It'll be so nice to just use one charger plug for EVERYTHING finally. (And Android users, shh, some of us just don't like Android. Sorry. I'm happy for ya'll that you like it, but not me.)

I’m predicting the pro tier will have
128Gb as the base
512G at +$200 and
1TB at +$400

They will skip the 256 because that’s the no brainer choice and will lose them $100 per phone since without it people will plunk for 512Gb.

Non pro will likely have a 256Gb tier because those customers are more price sensitive.

The sad thing is they KNOW us nerds will pay for the 1TB of storage we'll never use if it means we get more RAM.

So I wouldn't be surprised if they did that. Most people, even power users, don't need more than 256GB of storage since iCloud functions as a backing store and the caching is really good.

Think so? I know several and know no one that has bought a maxed out config.

I have a 256gb and it's overkill.. never hit 100gb... but I'm not an apple nerd, so..

"This is the most powerful A-series chip Apple has ever released. And now, we're going to take it to the next level. This year's iPhone includes the most RAM we've ever released in an iPhone. And we didn't stop there. Apple's best-in-class storage now starts at 256 GB, allowing Pros to take full advantage of Apple's leading RAW formats. And when it's time to transfer those files, Apple is excited to announce the biggest change to iPhone's port since Apple revolutionized wired connections with Lightning - USB-C with Thunderbolt. With iPhone Pro models, users can now transfer files at multiple-gigabit speeds, enabling a whole new level of interaction and increasing the efficiency of your workflow by over 50%."

0% chance there is a $200 price bump for 512 and $400 for 1TB. If anything, we might see $100 across the board increase on Pro models. Face it, we are living in times where prices of EVERYTHING are increasing. This isn't an Apple thing.

Hoping they start with 256gb out of the gate on the Pros (if they do this theorized price increase).
I've been looking at one of the recent posts by 9 to 5.

Based on recent patterns, Apple has done special storage for Pro models. It's anyone's guess for tomorrow.

We are officially less then 24 hours!!!
