Same as when they went from 4GB to 6GB; it's good for people who will take advantage of it. If you don't take advantage of it, then it's not a feature which would compel you to upgrade.I generally have only 2 tabs open. [yes, I'm weird]. I've never had more than 3 tabs open.
I'm just more curious as to what marketing tactic Apple is going to use to justify 8GB of RAM.
Why is there so much excitement over new iPhone each year? When was the last game-changer feature introduced? It's basically the same device in different colors each year and Apple has its fanboys drooling over nothing

what does the iPhone 15 Pro have that warrants 8GB of RAM?
They've always offered the same storage levels as the 'regular' phone models. The 14 and the 14 Pro both started at 128gb, I was wondering if the Pro would start at 256gb. Like a 14" MacBook Pro starts at 512gb as opposed to the MBA's 256gb type thing.I've been looking at one of the recent posts by 9 to 5.

Based on recent patterns, Apple has done special storage for Pro models. It's anyone's guess for tomorrow.
We are officially less then 24 hours!!!
True true. Same with PC/Macs. Thats why we have RAM up to 3TBs. Everyone‘s Individual needs are differentSame as when they went from 4GB to 6GB; it's good for people who will take advantage of it. If you don't take advantage of it, then it's not a feature which would compel you to upgrade.
Unfortunately, these are the times we are living in. Everything is/has increased in price, its not unique to Apple.128gb, price hike yet people will buy it anyway. Sad
I’m referring to the 12-series where standard 12s has 64GB base and 12 Pro has 128GB.They've always offered the same storage levels as the 'regular' phone models. The 14 and the 14 Pro both started at 128gb, I was wondering if the Pro would start at 256gb. Like a 14" MacBook Pro starts at 512gb as opposed to the MBA's 256gb type thing.
THIS is why I got the 1TB on my 14 pro max… that and Disney pics/videosUpgrading from 256 to 512 this year. I'm well over the 128 GB limit now. Almost all due to pet videos/pictures.. lol.
That is no surprise because we enabled Apple to get away with everything, even as storage memory prices have tumbled significantly. If you have 4K video recording or HQ picture that takes significant amount of space, it should be no brainer to enable 256GB storage for iPhone Pro and Pro Max models. I mean let's not even talk about iCloud storage capped at 5GB, more than decades ago but Apple continue to milk up profit margins while giving less and old tech of everything because we got bunch of "shut up and take my money" sheep fanboys.I predict 128 GB option for another decade, knowing Apple.
I doubt it. No way Apple would make the standard models using two lens system be comparable to the pro three lens system.I hope the cameras on the regular 15 are as good as the 14 pro so I can save 200-300 on my next phone purchase.
Totally agree. Especially with a 48 Megapixels camera, and support for the RAW format. If the camera's really the star of the show tomorrow, storage should follow.Storage should start with 256GB, especially in case of price increase.
I remember the iPhone 7 had 2GB of RAM while the iPhone 7 Plus had 3GB of RAM because of the extra camera. The 15 Pro Max will get a periscope lens so maybe only the 15 Pro Max gets the extra RAM? Hopefully, Apple is not that $tingy like they are with storage (or lack of) and gives the 15 Pro 8GB of RAM as well.Let’s play a game

I've got an android phone. Not the fancy-smancy no microSD card, iPhone wannabe.😒That is not true at all! You must have an Android phone! lol
This IS true....you must be an Apple FanBoy then....because nothing remarkable has come out since "FaceID" imo. I own all things Apple and even I can see where Apple and the iPhone hasn't advanced in worthy hardware upgrades or advanced features. That is not true at all! You must have an Android phone! lol It's not the iPhone alone, it is the Apps and their new capabilities!
Yeah, this seems like a great year for anyone not already on a 14 Pro, but if you are? You get… USB C… and nothing else of substantial difference. As far as we know anyway. 2TB would’ve been a compelling upgrade for me, but it looks like we don’t even get that. Guess we’ll find out tomorrow. No 2TB may affect my buying decision to go from 14 to 15. Because, otherwise its another year of slightly better processor, slightly better camera and...that's it. Have to think about it...
I made that same jump last year. Was a no-brainer. As many are saying, 256 should be base. 128 is embarrassing.Upgrading from 256 to 512 this year. I'm well over the 128 GB limit now. Almost all due to pet videos/pictures.. lol.
These things are still going to sell like hot cakes. Hell I even have a 14 Pro Max and am contemplating upgrading because I like the "latest and greatest". I am suckered into the Apple ecosystem, but I also have been enjoying the S23 Ultra on the side as my backup phone. Different strokes for different folks, I just happen to like both. I enjoy the ecosystem of the iPhone, and being allowed to customize the S23 Ultra to my hearts content.Yeah, this seems like a great year for anyone not already on a 14 Pro, but if you are? Haha, I do happen to be a longtime pixel user. And you're right, the more tangible "upgrades" is in the softwareThat is not true at all! You must have an Android phone! lol It's not the iPhone alone, it is the Apps and their new capabilities!
X70. X75 is for the 16 Pro. Every year +5.Is it getting the Qualcomm X75 modem?
