Some people won’t be happy until phones/tablet have no bezel, are made with unbreakable rigid glass (with no visible battery, chips, etc.), that also happens to fold in half perfectly with no visible or physical seam. Oh, and it will need to be both very thin, and perfectly thick, while weighing very little, but enough to feel like it’s a premium product.

Yes, we won’t be happy until our vision is complete, brother, embrace the future.

I’m yawning so hard at this, I think my jaw is gonna fall off.

I dreamed of a phone like this for quite some time now.

My main worry was how are they gonna prevent the unintentional touches and stuff, but maybe there is a way.

The sides and back will be for aesthetic reasons only, the only parts that will register touch input are the front slab like now, and the “buttons”.

Once I slap a case on it I dont look at bezels, yes USB C will be great but even thats not truly standard USB C as Apple witll throttle it on the lower models amd I bet standard cables wont work as they are sticking a chip in to make it Apple or Apple approved USB C, so lightning in any other name but faster if you pay the big bucks. I have got to the point where I keep looking at Android phones, and Linux for desktops. Next years OLED iPad if true is more than the price of a 65" Oled TV, let alone a Apple laptop, the M2 iPad is a way over priced, why do I need a M2 in a iPad but can only get a M1 (with a major flaw in the chip) in a iMac thats so slim it has virtually no ports and a headphone jack on the side is is out of date CPU wise, but hell you still pay full price. <sigh>

this will be nice, but costly as well.
Well first it looks almost as thin as the bezels on my 13 mini vs the 14 Pro I have but will be returning.

And without under display front FaceID hardware arra, nor TB3/4 USB-C connectivity and bandwidth what’s the point?

Apple should also drop the 14 Plus it’s an abysmal product - with worst production and sales than either the 12 or 13 mini ever had! Production cut after 30 days launch 5mths before the 13 mini, 7-8mths before the 12 mini’s productions were reduced respectively.

I'm very happy with my 14 plus, thank you. I'm sorry that its existence offends you.

Those 14 promax like myself are very happy with the size of the edging bezel Is indeed extremely thin and I’m very happy with it. As for 13 mini I always liked them and wish they would’ve made a 14 minute.

A thin bezel is visually appealing but even with currently thicker bezels there is a dead /untouchable zone next to the case/front glass intersection. If the front glass is curved at the edge the problem will only be exacerbated. What percent of owners use cases?

Agree about the slipperiness… of the 14 Pro’s rear.

The standard 14 have a glossy glass rear and I find the grip acceptable. Interestingly it also is cheaper to repair the rear on this than on the Pros as for those , the screen has to be removed to repair the rear.
