A "review" suggests a critical appraisal.

I'll wager there is absolutely nothing in these videos except pandering and praise. Can't get the clicks if you have nothing in your hands to create that all important thumbnail image of.

The luxury look is gone. These look basic and even lighter. Doesn’t feel or look premium anymore. Dull.
I disagree, iphones are still the most premium looking phones on the market.. Most others sport that cheap hard plastic look... And its only lighter compared to the earlier iphone series which are very hefty phones. ~19 grams lighter hardly makes it feel light and cheap. its a miniscule difference for a phone that's already very heavy and premium feeling.

I dont see any reviews comparing the 14 PM cameras to the 15PM. Thats what I would like to see in order to make an informed upgrade decision.

I'm not crying after watching Matthew Panzarino's last iPhone review. YOU are. 😭

But seriously ... what a great, useful review. I've been on the fence about upgrading. But given my first ever trip to Disney World coming up at the end of the year, I now can't imagine having any phone but the 15 Pro Max with me to capture all of my family's joy.

Review linked in the OP, but worth posting again: https://techcrunch.com/2023/09/19/apples-iphone-15-pro-max-goes-to-disneyland/

USB-C, the new video recording protocols, the A17 Pro. The iPhone 15 Pro is the first iPhone Pro worthy of the pro name. It's beautiful.

Wish I could get one but I got a 13 Pro so it's not a high priority to swap it out for this one.

I don’t want to sound rude and I appreciate every review but honestly sometimes it sounds as it was written by complete Apple fanboys and/or people who are similar to the dumbest user possible.
Honestly if you read these comments about USB-C or especially such simple things as the action button… oh my.

Doesnt really matter / not a deal breaker since I would use a case most of the time, but does anyone else actually think the 14 pro series actually looks more premium with glossy stainless steel vs. matte-ish titanium in the flesh? Fingerprint magnet aspect, aside

The titanium looks even nicer than I expected, too, not comparing against 14 pro but on its own

The action button would be a very nice addition if you could customize it with 2-3 functions (long press, press it 2x, …) but with just one function on it it’s not really a big thing.

I'm more annoyed that Macrumours keeps posting them, I'll keep highlighting this until they stop.

I really want to be head over heels to get it, but this year I honestly can't force myself. I have had every iteration outside of the first iPhone and the 7, no feat to brag about just fanboyism at it's finest. This iPhone feels too incremental for me, even more so than the S upgrades of yesteryear. I am one of the few opposed to USB C in the short term but might feel otherwise after some time passes. I honestly hate how most "major" upgrades always seem to be camera-related. I get it this generation of consumers is pretty narcissistic and wants to share their life with the internet constantly, but man do I miss the days of new smartphones having upgraded DACs, tweaks or changes to their display panels, etc. I may purchase one before my carrier $1000 off offer expires but I don't feel as excited to upgrade. I now understand why some keep their devices 2-3 years, there really isn't too much necessary or even fun change coming year to year anymore.
