Agreed. (I meant it to come across that way - and to be clear it's not that I don't care for the environment, just not my personal reasons for watching the keynote).
I also found an interesting critique of their mother nature trailer. It's from a guy in the UK who does a lot of commentary on various things, but also on social issues. He is pro-environment, but takes issue on a lot of the statements. It comes from Christian perspective, and regardless of ones beliefs, it's a great, IMO, honest breakdown of a "funny/not funny" attempt at dealing with an important issue. I thought it profound that the speaker (and apparently others) found holes in their narrative (which they control bc they are saying it, but just bc they said it doesnt make it true). It's only 30 minutes, but worth it if anyone cares to have a listen.
They funniest part of the commentary, if you dont watch it, is that one one hand they say they planted forests, and on the other hand they want to "permanently removing carbon from the atmosphere" which would kill the forests (and all human life)! 😅
