Pretty easy. Natural Titanium Pro 256. I had a 9:30 pick up time but lost it when they showed an old CC so I had to change to my current Amazon Visa…..want those points. Lost the morning pick. Now it’s 6:00PM. So I have to wait all day to get it. 
But still better than wondering what UPS will do with the delivery. Will probably turn my current 14P in then if they will take it in trade.

Refreshed at 5:00 am and got the "stay here until we let you in." Was in at 5:07 and done at 5:08. I had set up the order on Monday so it was a few clicks. Only weirdness was that when I went to investigate store pick up, it showed me a different zip code than where I set up the shipping address and would not let me change it. (Despite it appearing to be something I could click on to change.)

finally got in at 7:06am CT (5:06am PT). Completed pre-order for 16 Pro Max 1TB, Black Titanium, ATT. Delivery range Oct 2 - 7. Ugh. This happened last year and ended up by that Sunday with delivery updating to launch day. So hoping that happens again this year.
Ordered the new gold max 1tb, arrives 9/20

Wow... First time I've preordered directly from the Apple Store instead through a carrier and it was so painless since we could "pre-pre-order" ahead of time.
The store came up in the Apple Store app on my phone pretty quickly; I'm still "waiting to be brought in" on my MacBook browser.
I guess the only annoyance was that I couldn't order each phone in a single transaction; I had to check out each phone I was ordering separately.
Can't wait until next Friday, although my cases come in today, so I can pretend for a week I guess...

Ordered through AT&T and it let me order 10 minutes before 5AM. I don't really know when they started allowing pre-order but I checked at that time. Arriving by 9/20!
1 white ti PM and 1 natural ti PM setup pre order last night and completed both orders by 5:03 am PST. My least amount of refreshing ever. Got through on the app quickly by force quitting and re opening.
I stayed on page from phone and went straight to my saved order. Hit one button and it was ordered.
You can’t. It’s either I buy it outright or select a carrier to finance. Never required a carrier before….
Got it ordered by 8:10AM. And I'll say, it was the first time the "pre order" thing went smoothly. very smoothly. Thanks Apple.
Ordered, 2 x Pro, Black for me, white for the wife... probably the only benefit of being in NZ is we will get em a few hours before the rest of Earth!
