I picked a pickup time when I setup the order and earliest was 11am. During the actual order was asked again to choose a pickup time. Now 9am was available. Why have us set this up in advance?

You have to select a carrier but you can still finance through Apple.

From what I have found that option stopped in 2023. Now you need to pay in full if you want an unlocked iPhone without a carrier.

Very smooth after a few minutes of nervous waiting. The only issue I had was that payment kept failing because between the time I selected a store pickup time and the time it took Apple Pay to process the time expired. They need a longer cache window to hold those selected reservations for just a few seconds longer. Took five tries, which was a little exasperating.

Gave up on the Apple web site, went to VZW's web site and it wasn't taking my payment because the billing and shipping address were different. I was entering it wrong.

The Apple web site finally let me in and wouldn't process the VZW upgrade the same way the VZW web site did. So I ended up going back to VZW and got it to use a payment method I had on file with them.

So I got the 16PM 256 in desert titanium. I'll tango with the FedEx driver next Friday and hope that works out.

Ordered two. (1) 16 ProMax 1TB in Black, (1) 16 ProMax 512GB in Desert Brown (or whatever it's called). For the black phone, I was given the option of express shipping, so it will be here 9/17, while the desert brown one will arrive 9/20 (no express shipping option). I hope they're worth it...

Are you sure the express shipping for 9/17 delivery wasn't for an accessory like a case?

You buy the T-mobile variant. It was that way last year. You can use the Apple Card, get the perks, and the phone is unlocked. It is the only one that doesn't require you to enter carrier info. I am prepaid with Verizon and did this last year.

im already with a carrier. There has always been an option to finance without selecting a carrier up until now, or at least when I bought my 14 pro. Now, you can’t.

Looks like 1TB natural titanium is the only pro max available for delivery on 9/20. Crazy--I don't remember a day-1 delivery day sell out of almost all models this quickly.

I preordered the 512GB iPhone 16 Pro Max Desert Titanium on Verizon and saw they still have some for pickup in the Apple Stores in MSP on Friday, September 20. 🙄🤦‍♂️

I was able to order at 14.08 here in Germany. 16 pro max desert titanium. Delivery has already slipped to 25 - 30 Sep.
Probably the first time that I won’t get it on launch day.

Got my 16 Pro Max in White Titanium for launch day! Trading in my dad’s (formerly mine) iPhone 12 & getting a $1,000 promotional value for AT&T, then giving my dad my 14 Pro Max. Not a necessary upgrade but couldn’t pass up 1k for a 4 year old phone.
