Caudabe Sheath or Liquid Air T?

These are also very different cases. I find the sheath less comfortable to hold, comparatively - especially when my hands are dry.

Build quality-wise, the sheath is probably higher grade and likely has a better/tighter fit. Full disclaimer, I have not had a sheath for iPhone 16 Pro, just past phones.

Dollar for dollar, the Liquid Air T is a great case.

I just asked for opinions because those are the two cases I’m debating about. The Sheath is solid but makes my phone feel bulkier and the Liquid Air T is sloppier but it makes my phone feel thinner.

The fit is excellent. I was glad to see they added MagSafe and CC button. I snagged one as soon as I could. Great fit. Just avoid the light colored ones, as they always stain or discolor.
Update: I don’t know if it’s just me but after using it for a day or two I find it can be slippery. I was expecting it to be gripper with the pattern on the back

Honestly, the pattern doesn’t do much for grip. My opinion is that any case is going to feel different based on how dry or moist your hands are at the moment.

Cases can add grip through texture or through materials. Texture depends still on your hands. Material can always be grippy, but that also means it will stick to things other than your hands (I.e., your pocket liner).

It’s a trade off either way.

Oh dear. You lot still buying cases for 16 series. Something seriously wrong with you all.
Says the guy who was still buying cases 2-3 weeks ago. 🤣

For the first time in perhaps a decade or more, I’m not upgrading this year. Can’t abide that hideous camera forehead, and have zero interest in downgrading from titanium to aluminum construction. So yeah, still buying cases. 😅

I'm not upgrading either  and done buying 16PM cases.

Are Caudabe CC buttons glass?

Anyone seeing the rumors starting about a second camera control button? Looks like another year of case catastrophe if true. Hopefully no new buttons. I don’t think the case industry could take it.

Yeah just read that, another case disaster if that's true. Also lmfao at Apple adding a new button every year when the rumors of Apple wanting to remove all ports/buttons comes out every single year.

Does anyone really like the Paragon case?

Used mine for 1 day and haven't been back since.

I like how it feels for the most part. I’m not thrilled with the amount of scratch resistance on the back. Caudabe is apparently going to send me a replacement for the initial one I got, which immediately got scratches from very light use.

I was hoping they’d let me exchange for a sheath, but it doesn’t sound like it.

I’ve never understood why companies do this. The replacement is certainly going to scratch just as easily. I had this happen last year with the MagSafe indent on the Sheath. The first copy started showing the indent after a few days; the replacement, ditto; the replacement’s replacement, ditto.

How's this latest Sheath holding up?

I do. I think they really are beautiful cases. The midnight one especially, which I received yesterday, is for me one of the most minimal and aesthetically pleasing cases.

If I had to pick between this and the Sheath though, it would be latter, since I feel it is an all around more complete case.

I’m done buying cases and I also most probably won’t be upgrading to 17.
