I got mine ordered in less than 2 mins with my preorder. Possibly one of the fastest preorder so far.

8a hit and I had to refresh twice, as soon as I got in, preorder came up, confirm, and boom order done.

I ordered my wife’s 16 pink 3hrs late at Spectrum and they were still saying Sep 20. Order pink case from apple and they say 18th for that.

A lot of these so called "delays" are pure marketing tricks.

No. You may not be aware Apple iPhone manufacturing capacity is finite and not limitless. Apple is not into deceptions, as many here believe because it feels good to constantly rag on Apple.

If demand exceeds manufacturing capacity then there will be delays. Pretty simple to understand.

Just checked and Spectrum still quoting 9-20 for ALL 16 and 16+ in all colors/capacity and for all Natural Pros. White Pros are 10-1, Black are 10-8 and some golds are 9-20 while others are 9-28 or 10-1.

I guess Natural Titanium is unpopular but it seems like the one I would choose. Is it ugly in person?

So who has experience in years past about estimates this far out? Is it usually accurate? I’ve always ordered or picked up phones when they are readily available.

Jumping from a 12 mini to a Pro Max 😳 hoping to get decent battery life again, even though I'll sorely miss the small form factor. I personally look forward to having crash detection and satellite connectivity, for someone who spends a lot of time in remote areas that can be life saving features. The rest is just nice to have, I guess.
12 mini to pro max. Yea your battery life will be decent :p

I’m ok with this being true if it means not waiting a damn month for something so expensive. They should make enough to meet demand especially when “pre ordering”
Apple dont have a magic wand to suddenly have a year's worth of inventory on Day 1.
Why would any company?

You have a whole year until the next model... and you adjust manufacturing based on sales.
Not every contract expires at the same time.
Not everybody buys on release day.
The workers making these cant work 25 hours a day for a month and then have no work for 11 months...

I understand what your saying but I didn’t imply they should make a whole years worth. Enough to cover “pre” orders would be nice. They have obviously been making these for a couple months. I’m sure they have a good pulse on what’s going to sell well.
