"Look! Zero changes to the design but lets add button so that those idiots have to buy a new FineWoven case."

I currently have 15PM, and I swear to God it's my last iPhone.
Frankly i doubt my finewoven case is gonna make it through the year. It started to disintegrate after less than a month of use. So whether the cases will (not) be compatible is the last thing to worry about

I left the slider on silent 100% of the time since I wear the Apple Watch. But the capture button just adds button confusion.
I will welcome the capture button in that location since the old way of triggering the camera from a one-handed hold was the volume buttons, which made it too easy to accidentally press power off instead, either by squeezing or just pressing index finger instead of thumb.

In a time when other phone manufacturers are adding better cameras, bigger batteries, and pushing the boundaries of software with cutting-edge AI features, I'm glad Apple is focusing on what's really important in the world of mobile phone technology: strategically placed buttons.

I can't wait for the new iPhone, it will truly be the most revolutionary and magical™ iPhone ever. :p

Apple in a nutshell right now, Jeff Williams has killed the design team off and probably picks these designs and "features" with his other old white guy pals on the board.

Honestly, this is pathetic and if they're banking on Siri with AI and ANOTHER pointless button to save sales this year they're in for a shock.

These drawings are presented as a set of elevations of a single device (an iPhone 16 Pro prototype), but various features such as the camera bump, lenses and buttons are not aligned across all four views.

In a genuine set of elevations, all four views would sit perfectly within a rectangle and 'construction lines' (see red lines added to the screenshot below) would all be perfectly horizontal.

The only sensible conclusion is that this so-called 'CAD render' is a complete fabrication - cobbled together just to create a story.

I came here looking for information, not fabrications or entertainment. This is disappointing.
