It is only part of a screenshot, there is no context included. My guess would that you will try to argue that 48MP isn't included, but that is irrelevant whether the sensor is a 48MP sensor or not. The other thing I find is that the indicated file sizes are rather small for the size. But why not include the full information instead of playing a game of riddles.

The discussion all began with you saying that there are no 48MP sensors, we've already established now with you own admission that there are 48MP sensors. Although for some odd reason you still seem to think there is only one.

Why not just admit that there are two 48MP sensors, and that there are two 12MP sensors. This can be so easy, opposed to wriggling around the topic.

It's the file sizes.

How on God's green earth is a genuine 24MP file 3MB? The compression is crazy. A RAW should be larger than the MP size in MB, and a compressed RAW maybe half the MP size in MB with lossless RAW somewhere between the two.

Look at the chart I have been posting up thread to understand why that is.

It's not that the photos aren't 48MP. They aren't even 12MP for the most part. Some aren't even 2MP...

Apple and the other phone makers are BS-ing everyone.

I'm just simply over upgrading every year. I've done it so long now and my user experience never really changes. Plus I have to buy new cases all over again. It get tiring. I'm going to wait and see if its worth my while next year. My 15 Pro is a very capable phone.

You can almost certainly wait until the 19 or 20. I'm an Apple enthusiast, I follow all the news every year, and it's still not worth it to upgrade more than every once in a while. I'm moving from the 11 to the 16 pro. My 11 is starting to really noticeably slow down in all the things that it does. For me, that's the right time. (And you're right, replacing cases is such a pain in the ass.)

If you updated every year, that every year update is an outlier. Per Apple they don't expect you to upgrade every year. If one subscribes to any service they still get revenue from you. I update every three or four years.

Kuo said a major reason for the iPhone 16 Pro models having lower-than-expected demand is that Apple Intelligence will not be available on the devices when they launch on Friday. Instead, the first Apple Intelligence features are rolling out with iOS 18.1 in October. In addition, the analyst said the iPhone is facing "intense competition" in China.
I’m guessing Apple made far fewer iPhone 16 Pros for the preorder batch considering the device is sold out for launch day next week……..

(I just finally watched Apple event and catching up on Apple news after avoiding it for three months so apologies for weird reply post here)
