My phone arrives on Tuesday. Here are the two options I’ve ordered. Solid deals for Prime Day.

X-it 2-Pack Screen Protector for... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DCJH61MR?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Well, I can confirm that both of these are a complete bust and cut into the display on the sides. Based on feedback from here, I’ll move onto the ESR next, which appears to not cover any of the display, but has those awful edges

No. There’s definitely a gap there. I thought my close of shot showed it ? Redid photos under magnification.
What is interesting is that the excuse from most manufacturers to not reach the borders is because of the slight curved glass and still this cheap protector reaches all the way almost to titanium, which makes me think if what they tell is really real

Just tried this one since it was only 9.99 for a three pack and I’m pretty impressed. Yes it’s got black borders but it’s not as aggressive as other black border protectors I’ve used. More importantly it also doesn’t posses a large gap for dust to be trapped. Definitely worth the 9.99 for the time being. It also doesn’t have a mesh to cover earpiece which I miss.
I use these too. Tried a bunch and these have been perfect with great coverage.

Currently using a tempered glass screen protector and not a fan of how thick it feels and it adds weight to the 16 Pro. Gonna try a film screen protector as I’ve read those don’t add weight and feel better in the hand.

Which brand tempered glass? They vary quite a lot in thickness.

im enjoying the shellrus but part of me cant wait for it to break so i can get the new flolab whenever it comes out, even if they have subpar oleophobic coating

Currently using an ESR armorite that’s working pretty well but it’s not edge to edge so when swiping sometimes your finger can get caught on the bottom.

Are there any edge to edge protectors with curved edges and that don’t cut into the screen with their black borders?

I had a Torres for my 15 Pro last year but the black edges cut part of the screen off.

We are in mid October and is absolutely insane that we don’t have more than one good option for screen protector on the market

I would say Belkin for now or anyone else that doesn’t have the black borders. Every screen protector with the black border seems to be cutting into the screen.

Belkin seems a bit fragile. Mine broke after a week but fortunately there’s “lifetime” warranty. Mine is in the progress of being replaced.

Does the Belkin cut into the screen? Also, does it cover the entire screen unlike the ESR?
The Belkin fits almost exactly like the ESR. It doesn’t have a black border and extends just beyond the inner edge of the screen bezel. With the Apple Silicone case it leaves a perfect gap for catching all kinds of fuzz and crud… lol. I like the fact that it’s so thin though, which leaves a higher case lip above the screen. The Torras is over twice as thick which eats up most of the lip on shallow cases like the silicone.

OK, I guess I'll stick with the ESR until Flolab releases an improved version.
