I have a few cases, but they’re fingerprint magnets, which I find very annoying. Right now, I’m waiting on my Ghost 2.0 replacement case. The first one was pretty good at not showing fingerprints. Very hard to get off the phone though. I like to take it out of it’s case and clean it once a week or so. I wish I was gutsy enough to go caseless. I’ve been lucky enough to never have dropped my phone, but I would probably jinx myself and drop it right away if I did go caseless. Paranoia, I guess. 🤷🏼‍♀️
I think you might enjoy this thing then…

Have I understood correctly - you apply a screen protecter to protect the screen and then use the Suti PhoneBack case to protect the back but the sides and especially the corners are not protected?

Did a quick check and the shipping costs are too high to ship the Suti PhoneBack to the UK ☹️

Yup, the Apple Sillicone is for when I need extra protection but for the majority of scenarios where I use my phone, the screen protector and Suti are more than enough.

Had the Belkin Ultraglass 2 on my 16P, installed in Apple Store, was not really liking it. I also go caseless most of the time and the edges were very noticeable and ”sharp” I think, especially when you swipe from under. Maybe it’s the thinner bezels this year making it difficult. It have been alright the two last iPhones, never bothered me before.
Thing is, it didn’t last even 3w… the edge got cracked on the top, no idea how it happened, I’m quite careful. Didn’t drop or bang it. No marks or sign whatsoever on the phone. Had to take it off after getting glas splinters in the fingers… so won’t go with that one again.

Another option is of course to go without but not not really comfortable with that lol. I know, going caseless and all, but I’m particular about no scratches on the glass. So I went down to lokal shopping centre and checked with a place fixing phones, and they could fit a screen protector while I waited, did a nice job. Some German brand with japanese tempered glass, but actually better then the Belkin one with better coverage and not as sharp edges, think they were a bit more rounded. But I would like to find better then this. I will keep an eye on this thread and if I find a good one I will post it.

Interesting concept, thanks for the link yourself! Have you tried it on the 16, as well as their arc screen protector?
I'm still evaluating if I'll get a 16 our 16 pro iPhone. So never tried the Arc case or their screen protecter. I won't buy the Arc screen protecter as they don't come with alignment trays.

Just installed this matte one. Love the way it looks and feels but sadly it has a black border and it’s too small so it covers a portion of the 16 Pro Display. Why is it so hard for these screen protector makers to ensure it covers the whole display?

Avoid this one:
It's probably bc with much thinner boarders of new iphones it hard to find compromise between covering the whole screen and not being lifted by different cases.

I waited a while to see if anyone found a better option. I tried the Ultraglass 2-pack for the 16 Pro on Amazon. Before this, I tried the newer, more expensive Ultraglass “anti reflective” pack of one.
There were a few bubbles, which were easy to push out. The black border seems ok. It feels a little sharp swiping up from the bottom. The big issue is there is adhesive showing at the bottom of the screen. It’s not as much as I had with Spigen, but it’s still evident. I tried working out the adhesive on the bottom with the scraper for a while. It’ll disappear with some pressure from the scraper or my finger, and then reappear right away. I guess I’m going to hold off for a while. These screen protectors leave a lot to be desired with the adhesion showing, not fully adhering.

I tried the ESR 3-pack with flawless fit tray, the current $9.99 one on Amazon. It’s definitely smaller all the way around the screen. I can see more of a gap. The bottom right still shows some adhesive. I tried working it out for a while and nothing. So far, I’ve tried two Ultraglass models, Spigen, and this ESR all from Amazon. The ESR has the least amount of adhesive showing, but it’s still a problem. I think I’m done for now trying to find one that doesn’t have the adhesive problem.

So the UNIQ OPX Matte protector arrived today. The pluses are that it practically shows no fingerprints, has great coverage and shows only minimal reflections.
The minuses are some loss clarity and brightness, the older applicator that leaves air bubbles while increasing the chances of lint under the protector, and the display is slightly covered by the black borders but I’ve seen worse.
Overall, if you prefer the mate look, this is a solid choice because I’ve seen some with horrible brightness and clarity drops. This is not too bad. Personally I’ll probably be returning to the UG anti-reflective protector but I’m giving this a chance for a couple of days to see how it does in the outdoors. I have the clear one without black borders, 1 it has very nice curves without ANY sharp feeling when swiping from edges, 2 pretty nice coating, 3 coverage is not good, on par with esr, 4 their support is basically non existent.

Have you tried belkin ultraglass 2? I too had the same problem with the bottom right with ESR standard glass protector and the Amorite one. Belkin one does the same, however it is easily pushed out with a scraper and does not return. Probably better adhesive with the belkin. Although more expensive, should solve the issue as it did for me 👍🏻

I haven’t tried the Ultraglass from Belkin. I’ve seen a lot of comments here about users getting it done at the Apple Store. Is that what you did? I think the same one is available on Amazon.

I just bought Belkin Ultraglass 2 from Amazon. I took my new phone out of the box and applied the Belkin screen protector using the alignment device that came in the box. Now the phone screen looks terrible. The alignment of the screen protector is very bad and there are bubbles on the screen even though I applied it to a phone that has never been used before. I have used a lot of screen protectors for other iPhones but this is the first time I have seen one this bad.

What is the best screen protector on the market that I can use for the iPhone 16 Pro? It would be better if there was a screen protector available in European market, but the current one is so bad that I may even order one from USA in the worst case scenario.

This is the best matte screen protector I’ve ever used. Obsessed with it. It’s matte but doesn’t have the usual noisy haze. It looks almost as clear as without a protector and feels amazing. And the matte finish is so good i doubt I’ll ever use a phone without it. Applies real easily too.

Personally, so far it’s been the UltraGlass AntiReflective at this link. This has the smallest trade-offs for my use. https://a.co/d/gklCsF9

It doesn’t seem like there is a clear winner this year so far.

I bought it off Amazon and applied myself, however for some reason it was very difficult to apply without a single bit of dust between the phone and protector. Would recommend doing it in store but it is easy to apply yourself with the alignment tray just hard to be completely ‘dust free’ underneath the protector, no air bubbles though and looks great.
