Dont you guys get nervous as heck about a bad install on premo priced screen protectors or packs that only come with 1?

:D
damn straight, one screen protector, can’t get my head around that tidbit. I personally would have ordered 5 just in case some are defective a bit like what some do when ordering iPhones. 🤪

Got my FLOLAB yesterday and followed instructions but when fitted was slightly off have tried to reapply but now got bubbles have contacted support for a replacement but would have to pay postage so now contacting them by email as not happy if no luck will contact my card provider to claim back as not fit for purpose
Is the new updated Flolab you got? That's very disappointing to hear!

Yes was the new one hopefully they will send out new one have sent over pics they have tried to say was my fault
You’re not eligible for “free” replacements no matter what. FloLab has always stated that you have to pay shipping to be able to use the unlimited warranty.

Ouch, well that's not great news...

In my experience there is some luck involved with these installs. None are 100% perfectly precise and just a tiny shift in how the tray is seated can be seen at the edge, especially with the new thinner bezels. I haven’t installed a FloLab this year, but my guess is that the amount of variance in their installs is no different than their competitors’. I guess we’ll see as more reports come in.

My tip is to open the camera app and line up using the corner 'L's, then hold tight at sides and pull the dust removing plastic out straight down.

This is what I do, just open up the camera app, cover the lenses and snap a screenshot so the frame is black. Then set that as my Lock Screen wallpaper and then install how you install yours

Has anyone received their new Flolab and installed it yet? Mine is finally arriving tomorrow. Excited and also a little nervous lol.

Just to update on my FLOLAB install. Install was smooth just like most screen protectors. Small amount of bubbles that were easy to remove with the scraping tool. I dont have the means to take photos of my phone with the screen protector on but I will say this is now my favorite screen protector. The camera L's are visible if not slightly cut off, reminds me of my previous Torras install which has always been my favorite screen protector.

Ahhhh “slightly cut off” makes it seem like it’s a rebranded ultra glass that has slightly cut off L’s too. Mine arrives today, I’ll throw some comparisons up

Yeah sorry I can't supply pictures my phone is my only camera at the moment.

I think this may be the best compromise in terms of getting as much of the camera "L's" visible with slight cut off. I'm fine with it. To be honest I would have been happy just keeping my Torras on.

hi,
just got my flolab but don't have the phone (returned due to a bad green tint)
do you have and indication on the package that it is a new version with 0.7mm bezels? Just trying to check if i got a new one (I've ordered the new one)

That was the first thing I checked for and while I don't know what the packaging looks like for other FLOLAB models, there is no indication on the package regarding 0.7mm bezels.

I’ve tried FloLab (1st version), Toras, ESR, and Anker this year and will say this UltraGlass has been the best by far. Thinner than the rest and cuts off the least amount of screen. Straight on you can’t tell the Ls in the camera are covered, only at an angle. Anti reflective and smoothness are very similar to the FloLab.

Only thing I’d consider upgrading to is the hot glass bend from FloLab if it ever comes out….

Mine looks teh same with the same code on the bottom right sticker. Maybe if anyone could provide a code of the older version, we would have a nice way of checking if it is a new or old one. But I assume that yours is a new one bc after installing it looks ok :)

I’ve tried FloLab (1st version)
Do you have a package of it or any pic with the sticker code on the bottom right?
