iPhone 16 Pro/Pro Max Screen Protector

I'm having such a hard time finding a screen protector that doesn't impact touch sensitivity, especially in the corners. It's been a pain in the ass tapping on the back button in the top left corner on things like instagram or tiktok. I've used the Spigen and the FLOLAB ONETIME PRO NanoArmour 3D one. They are both bad. Maybe 3 out of 10 taps don't register. How is the Smartdevil one? I'm tempted to go naked on it, it's so bad.

I haven't tried the Torras, I'm afraid to buy another one and being dissapointed again. Is there a general consensus that the Torras one is the best right now? When it first came out, I know ppl had a lot of complaints.

The coverage is full and it doesn’t cut into the screen. Shame it doesn’t adhere properly to edge where the glue was defective.

In this picture ive pressed it down. But it keeps lifting after a two three seconds.

Did you happen to see a matte version of the screen protector?
 
So I have both the Flolab 3D screen protector and the Torras screen protector.
Which one do you think I should install on my brand new iPhone 16 Pro Max?

Put on the flolab. Once it comes out misaligned or has glue problems, switch to the torras while you wait for a replacement from flolab.


Just installed the torras, was gonna check how the little L markers on the camera look but iOS 26 took them away lol

Is there a point of putting it on when it has issues?
Also do you know if the Flolab 3D fits most cases? I have the Phone Rebel Gen 6 Ultra case which is a thick case and I have heard some cases cause the screen protector to lift.

I wouldn’t use it with the gen 6. It made mine lift.

You were right!

I tried to install the Flolab onto my iPhone today and I noticed that the installation frame did not fit my iPhone 16 Pro Max properly, it felt somewhat loose. When I pulled the tab all the way during the install, the protector was still stuck to the frame and did not come off! It's good that I have a back up Torras protector which I am using now. It's almost like you knew this would happen!

I am definitely going to contact Flolab and request a refund, not a replacement. There have been simply too many complaints about people having issues for it not to be true! It's very disappointing as the Flolab is very expensive and doesn't even come with an extra screen protector incase you mess up the first install.

Haha yeah I went through 4 of the flolab 3d new ones. Even tried installing one without their frame. Same issue. So I gave up on them

I don't know if this is related, but my daughter had touch issues with her 16 Pro Max. It happened with no screen protector, restore and set up as new didn't fix it, it passed Apple's hardware testing, and a screen replacement by Apple didn't help either. Apple finally replaced the phone, which is better.

I need to perhaps use the phone without a screen protector to see if it's a screen issue or a screen protector issue....

I think I have replied before but Torras. You cannot beat Torras.
