I wish some company came up with a higher end TPU screen protector. Like the LK ones for the Apple Watch.

The iPhone corners are probably gonna get rounder in the next models. TPU protectors curve perfectly on the watch.
Currently all the TPU ones I've tried for the iPhone have some issue.

Hey guys,

What do you guys use to clean your iPhone screen, especially if you are using a screen protector? I know some screen cleaners can wear away the coating on the screen protector?

I know many people, including Apple recommend just using water and a cloth but I find water leaves streaks.
Clorox wipes work fine as well, also will disinfect it.

I've always been a big advocate for Flolab, used them for like 18 months now, but... it seems as though this latest one picks up tons of smudges and fingerprints? Is that a thing?

This is my latest Flolab..
FLOLAB ONETIME MAX NanoArmour: iPhone 16 Series Matte Screen Protector with Infinity Edge, Anti-Glare Technology, PolarSpectra Anti-Rainbow Technology, Smooth as Butter × 1

So many great posts here, what's the consensus on the best matte protector that checks all the boxes?

Torras?

Here’s my take after trying flolab 3D, spigen, Torras, smartdevil hot bending glass, Basueus hot bending glass and bunch of others.

1. Nobody can beat the flolab glare reduction and this is by a fair margin. It’s worth getting it for this alone.
2. Best coverage is by all the hot bending glass, no contest here.
3. Both flolab 3D and hot bending glass don’t block the screen at edges.
3. The edges are smoothest with 3d bending glass, it feels like there is no edge at all. Believe me, it is an excellent feeling. Even the flolab (new 3D) is not exactly like this, it constantly has white dust around edges and you can still feel the edge. I guess they did this purposely so that it is compatible with most of the high end cases.
4. Flolab has the best look of the glass, others look shiny and silvery. This is only visible when compared side by side.
5. Flolab does scratch easily compared to others though it’s not that bad.
6. Oleophobic coating is comparable across the good protectors so no complaints here.

I, myself, will be keeping flolab on since I can’t unsee the amount of glare it reduces.

I hope this information helps others in making the decision.

Good Day!

Flolab probably comes closest to checking all the boxes.

I asked this question in here too and got no results, I was going to try it but read pretty inconsistent reviews so I spent a few more $$$ on the 2.5D Torras which has been pretty good for me.
It’s Nothing special. Just used up two of the three to install it as the protector would install to far low by about a millimeter on each attempt probably defective template box.
Worst part is, it doesn’t feel as smooth as silk like the Walmart Onn Corning screen protector. So if you’re in a pickle for $19 for 3 then get this smartdevil 3 pack with 2.5D corners which don’t catch your fingers if you’re caseless.. Else it’s a 7/10 all day long.

thx for the mini review.

I like the Torras but i feel I get "phantom taps" once in a while. Sometimes it registers a double tap rather than one....could just be me getting used to it or doing something wrong.

Belkin installed at Apple. Perfect fit and no issues like the cheap protectors.
How'd you get all the bubbles out? I watched the video and it seemed like they were struggling with the bubbles. They kept saying a card may be more effective at removing the bubbles than a cloth, but they never say which type of card.

For those who liked the upgraded Diashield with the 3D curved bezels from Torras last year (for me that was by far the best screen protector for the 15 Pro Max) I emailed them asking if they planned on doing the same for the 16 Pro Max and they emailed me back saying they’re actually dropping that version this Friday on Amazon.

Is this it?

I don't have 16 Pro but I have 15 Pro Max and I was looking for a new screen protector so I was reading some posts here and I decided to get the Baseus 3D hotbend one from aliexpress and well.. I do not recommend that.
Not only I have lots of bubbles that don't want to go away, I have huge amount of dust between the display and screen protector even though I have cleaned the screen before the application.
I don't know if I'm dumb and don't know how to use that installation kit but for me it didn't work that well.
Also that installation kit glued the screen slightly too high, it's literally almost touching the titanium frame but on the bottom there's visible gap to the point that I'm wondering if the black border is covering the screen now.

But not gonna lie, I love how I can swipe on the sides and there's barely any feeling that there's screen protector mounted.

Maybe I'll try the SmartDevil one but unfortunately I've seen it's got the same installation kit as Baseus.
Wanted Flolab (mostly because of the antireflection feature) but it's quite expensive getting it shipped to my country.

It appears to be on there now as the original screen protectors posting.

Just for the record, I just got the new FloLab One Time Pro for my iPhone 16 Pro, and it fits perfectly. It doesn’t appear to cover any pixels on my screen.

Unfortunate update. My protector got damaged. My replacement under warranty arrived and would not adhere to part of the edge of my screen no matter what I tried. Now I have no protector, and have to wait for a snail-mail email reply from Flolab. I am fully expecting they will tell me I have to pay for shipping to replace a defective item.

If they don’t ship me a totally free replacement, I think I may mark them off my list for any future purchase. I refuse to pay for shipping to replace something that is defective.

Yeah. I’ll stick with my Walmart $10.88 Onn Corning glass no border one. It’s also a one pack unfortunately but so easy to return and exchange. 😆🤣

still a fan of the onn corning or moved onto something else?

After like 8 months or so, my top left corning lifted. got some scratches too off angle, oleophobic layer and glide still seems there.

overall pretty happy, I think they're a good even cut over the bezel and not a sharp edge with the two main cases I use but really all

I am tempted to buy another 15plus one for my 16plus (since 16plus doesn't have corning one but they're the same front) - they're on clearance for $8.00 now but on the other hand if that top right corner stays only partially lifted barely beyond bezel, maybe I won't bother :p

You using the Matte 3D or Nanoarmour 3d?

I had the Belkin protector installed at the Apple Store and I’ve had 2 full days with it, couldn’t be happier. I am awful at applying screen protectors so I wasn’t going to waste money trying.
Did you have Apple apply the screen protector to a brand new phone still sealed in the box?

That would seem to be the best way to avoid getting dust trapped under the protector.

Everyone complaining about bubbles, just curious, do you ever just leave them on and check your phones the next day? 99% of the time when i have bubbles they tend to go away the next day (or the day after).

Glad you mentioned the Walmart Onn Corning glass screen protector. I broke mine recently due to a drop, purchased 4 units from Walmart and none of them lined up correctly! Perhaps a bad batch but ultimately gave up on them now. Currently using a Smart Devil regular tempered glass from Amazon USA. Not great but acceptable. So if you know of a decent brand let me know. I may just skip and wait on the iPhone 17 pro max. That’s if I decide to upgrade. If not I’d definitely be interested in a protector for the 16 PM once this one gives up the ghost or in my case gets dropped.

Still don’t see this on Amazon USA ?
