So form over function. There’s one big upgrade missing, significant design change.

Yes they will but even then the battery life isn’t great. Right now I carry a portable battery and hook that up when needed. Will Apple not replace the battery?
But what does iJustine think???
“A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad." - A quote about video games but works for software in general.
Also a quote that is always attributed to Shigeru Miyamoto of Nintendo but apparently he didn't actually ever say it.
Whoever said it was right!
I was planning on upgrading from the 12 Pro Max and I too will wait another year.I’m definitely sticking with my 13 Pro Max for another year. I don’t see a great reason to upgrade to the 16.
I think she is actually one of the better reviewers out there. I wonder why she gets so much hate
- She is one of the few Apple Watch reviewers that seem to regularly drive with her watches, showing off all of the functionality relating to the diving functions, which I appreciate (even if I am not a diver)
- Her Mac and IPad reviews always test out things like display support, which not a lot of people do (particularly iPads)
- She demonstrates a lot of camera functions in her iPhone reviews

I would consider it too but I need a new battery and have difficulty justifying it for just another year of use.Seriously considering canceling my order and sticking with the iPhone 13 Pro for another year. This is a tough one.
What’s wrong with that, or in this case, why can’t we have our cake and eat it? A refreshed look with all of the bells and whistles inside that you would expect with a Pro. It’s been three years since the 13 Pro release so it’s time for a significant change. Actually, I think adding ultramarine, pink and teal to the color options for the 16 Pro would’ve been a good decision by Apple. So form over function.
It's not a camera. It's a phone with a camera. And a professional photographer would use a DSLR, not a phone. I guess you're not a professional photographer then. But if you've been published, I'd love to see your work.It is indeed a camera. And as a photographer I've been using iPhones exclusively for quite awhile.
And will be picking up my 16PM this Friday at the local Apple Store.
Well, I can infer from your "68030" that you're older than dirt. Almost as old as me!Thanks for your concern, but I’m wondering if this is an age and gender thing. I cannot think of anything I would less want to do than talk on the phone. The same is true of my peers.
Among all phones existing now, what is the biggest cellphone right now?Agreed!
I want them to keep pushing it ... just to see what people will actually do and how BIG we can go here
We're gettin' there ... slowly but surely...

Do you refer to your car as a mobile stereo system, because if one can listen to music, then it's a stereo? How many MPG does your stereo get?If it lets one make photographs, it's a camera.
Click here if you'd like to see some of my work. I think there's around a dozen pages of photos.
Perhaps you don't understand what the definition of a camera is. If you need assistance, please click here for an Oxford Dictionary definition.
I have to disagree. Back in the time the 3G was really slow - don’t forget it only had 128MB RAM with a very slow CPU. Upgrading to the 3GS was definitely much faster. The same cannot be said with the 15 PM to 16PM transition.Felt like that with the 15 Pro too. It had an action button, and a better zoom lens. Feels a bit more of an upgrade even from that this year to be honest. Which isn’t too bad.
I remember just 3G and 3Gs having small upgrades, as well. People freaked over 2 small upgrades. There’s loads of them here (yeah there could be more) but I’m happy with upgrading.
I’m 60 and female and I freaking hate talking on the phone. Everyone who needs to reach me knows to text me.Thanks for your concern, but I’m wondering if this is an age and gender thing. I cannot think of anything I would less want to do than talk on the phone. The same is true of my peers.
I may be only one person but I upgraded the phone every year since the 3GS. Not anymore this year.So what we know form these "reviews" is this..
Patel wants to utterly slate it but is scared of apple PR and blacklisting.
Marcus thinks its a nothing update based on promises for the future which is wrong.
tech chap hates the photo processing on it and Samsung/pixel beat it.
mrwhostheboss thinks the pro is trash, HATES the camera button gimmick and finds it pointless.
the camera button is ****, useless and slower compared to actually using screen controls and the larger display is not noticeable at all.
If you have 13/14/15 pro, skip it.
This might be the laziest, most pointless update since the normal sized iPhone XS.

Yes. If someone has to find me for something, text me.I’m 60 and female and I freaking hate talking on the phone. Everyone who needs to reach me knows to text me.
Im not even sure what my phone sounds like when it rings, since I keep it on silent, always.
Actually it’s a big part of their business. AppleCare as an insurance. Haha.So Apple isn't selling phones this year...they're selling promises.
