Who said that? Isn't the general consensus that the Air will replace the Plus in the $899 slot? It's too heavily compromised hardware wise to warrant costing more than the Pro series.

I’ve heard that as well but it was early on when the air rumor first broke. In fact I believe I heard it on a few different podcasts that generally have good info. But again, this was when the rumor first popped up.

Where did you see that it will be more expensive than a Pro Max? Everything I've seen so far puts it under the price of a Pro.

Who said iPhone 17 Air will have no camera or speakers?

Are we reading the same thing?

Ya I’m with you. I read it different. It’ll have a camera and a speaker. I’m guessing the other post used “cameras” and “speakers” in the plural to denote they’d only have one of each. Sounds like marketing speak lol.

Bring back smaller phones!
Well, I’m pretty sure that the so called “iPhone Air” will be a flip iPhone with a very small footprint when closed, and a large screen when opened.

I think that the “iPhone Air” name is just an euphemism to make us know that a completely and different iPhone is coming, without let us know its main feature, which would be foldable.

For those thinking the price is more than the Pro, just go to the Roundup page…

“According to The Wall Street Journal, the iPhone 17 Air will be priced more affordably than the iPhone 17 Pro models.”

Chill guys.

I truly do not understand who was complaining the iPhone was too thick. With case, it fits perfectly in my pocket. The Pro Max is perhaps a bit large for some (though I love it), but thinness or thickness was never an issue I saw anyone complain about. I can't see any advantage at all to an iPhone Air. It would be easier to damage, poorer features than any of the non-air phones, and very expensive.

I have the "standard" sized Pro this year and it has gotten WAY too big dimensionally. I miss the Mini, but I also appreciate more screen real estate. We have the Plus/Max for the weirdos who want a phablet, can we please STOP bloating the standard phone's dimensions EVERY SINGLE YEAR??? I have big hands, yet one-handed manipulation is still darn near impossible these days.

You’re holding it wrong : /
