I weighed the Süti NanoLeather phone back for the 17 pro max and it's 38.8 grams.

I’ve mentioned this before, but I wonder why phone backs have to be so heavy? I’d love to see them use a lighter, more rigid material such as aramid fiber to get the weight down under 20 grams. I wonder if they have to make the back thicker than a regular case since there is no support from the sides, or if the magnets have to be stronger? Just curious.
My Andar Aspen is 37 grams, which is about the limit of the amount of weight I’d want to add to my Air.

The clear phoneback from suti with pro max = 275g , so around 41/42g for pro max
The matter clear phoneback with pro max = 280g, so around 47g
No screen protector on... also might vary by 1-2g as its just random old scale i had layin around
They offered carbon fiber for the previous models. Per Suti, carbon fiber is not confirmed for the new models at this time ☹️

I emailed Suti a few weeks ago before placing my order.
The carbon fiber is closer to the 2.3mm and the clear closer to 4mm. Silicone is in the middle.
I didn’t inquire about the weights though, but based on the above, carbon fiber has to be lighter.
All of that time, and they send you a phone back that looks like that? They need to send you a replacement immediately!

@strkt1192 I did register my Matter phone back with the warranty QR code that came one the packaging, so if anything changes, I will be emailing them. I was thinking of sending them a video of me sliding the bottom of the case, but knowing them, they’re probably going to say the MagSafe magnets will prevent it from falling off.
I emailed them so hopefully they can make it right. With enough force if u push left or right the magnet comes off. It should stay still imo and not wiggle.
I bought both Black Silicone and Black TW for my 17 Pro Max and I actually prefer the TW. I usually go with Silicone but might be sending that one back. I was torn on the TW at first, but it's really grown on me.
looks way better then the incomplete rings imo. Just cover the logo and pretend it doesnt exist. Clear cases look like **** this year.
I was looking into this - I actually prefer to save a bit of weight and get a NON-magfit case. Their non-magfit doesn't come in "Frost" but I was struggling to get a sense of what the frost actually was. Is the whole case frosted and not "crystal clear", or is it just the glass panel area that is translucent? So clean on the silver especially with the frosted back …great grip, lightweight, and smudge free so far too. Apple clear case going bye bye.
How do these skins work with a case? Are they mega thin and issue-free, or are they too thick and will they make the tolerances too out-of-spec that cases won't fit/wrap around and hug the phone properly?

Not in this case where the Apple logo is cut off by the full ring. Incomplete ring is the way to go here (like the Matter HT Ice Snap).
I had a random tracking number show up in my account today. I wonder if it might be from Suti? The origin is Chicago, which matches up with the other replacement shipments I’ve seen posted here.
For those who may be interested in the Nomad leather back, they just posted a video on instagram which clearly shows the camera rim protruding and not sitting flush with the phone. Don’t know how it got past QC
