iPhone 17/Air/Pro/Pro Max Cases

Feels nice and slim in hand. The top is tight , unlike the regular gen 7 where it’s a little loose. This thing takes some force to put on. This one’s my wife’s, gave her the orange accents and did silver accents on mine (minus the camera bezel since they don’t have silver yet). All in all so far I like it. Same as previous years where the case feels slightly wider than then the regular gen 7 due to different material but it is more grippy than last years. Wife was rocking a caudabe synthesis and her first impressions were “woah it’s orange” and “it feels like a new phone”. Included a couple pictures with a synthesis comparison.

What a shame they put that huge stand deal on the back.

It took me a minute to figure out how the logo is in the proper location where Apple should have placed it, then I remembered who posted this. 😊

I was actually looking forward to it. Been jealous of the one on the torras case. I do wish it didn’t have the branding on it tho.

I have a clear carbon fiber protection skin and then slapped a cricut cut apple logo on top of that in the proper spot. The clear carbon pattern hides the OG logo

Quick update - MagSafe is low key booty cheeks with this kickstand thing :/ they are supposed to release replaceable kickstand attachments. Hopefully one is a straight up MagSafe module lol and then hopefully they have a MagSafe lense too. The regular gen 7 MagSafe spoiled me

Can you translate that for me, I'm old ;) I'm assuming "low key booty cheeks" means the Magsafe sucks?

How is the magnetic ring strength? Does it as a magnet itself? Do other MagSafe accessories work as well?
 
I received the Caudabe Moonstone open for silver 17 pro. First impressions:

-Thin. Nice form factor.
-Feels nice in the hand.
-Back is white pearlescent. It has a little sheen to it.
-Back is smooth. May be slick in some situations but grippy sides should compensate.

I don’t like dark colored cases and prefer open camera cutout. I like the color combo of silver iPhone, gray sides and white pearlescent back.

I got mine today too for my Orange Pro. It's my new favorite case.

Questions for those with caudabe cases

1. Did your case come a bit dusty? Mine did. Mainly on the inside along the edges and camera plateau.

2. How do I know if my sheath has the updated buttons? I ordered on Black Friday weekend. With the phone in there is some rattle if I shake it around a bit. Not sure if the new buttons eliminated the rattle completely or not.

They had it on Amazon for 39.99 right around Black Friday. I scooped it up then with the matching orange buttons . I’ve been using it most out of all of my cases

It’s hard to explain about the back. It’s smooth almost slick but some kind of coating on it that gives it some “grit”. I’m out in the elements and since it’s cold out it’s more on the slick side with thin gloves. When my hands are warm it does has a decent grip.

...however, I wish I'd have known that. Mine is arriving today. £54 with 3 x plateau covers and 2 screen protectors. See if it's worth it once it arrives.

I actually picked up an AliExpress silicone case a few weeks back. I had a tonne in all the Apple colors for my 15PM, and they were really good quality/copies. Easily as good quality as my wife's genuine 16 silicone cast from Apple. Took a punt and it arrived, really pleased with it. Doesn't do he coloured-magsafe animation, but does shoot off the MagSafe wallet animation. I can live with that for £9. Decided I'd buy a couple more from the same seller, but their shop no-longer has any stock...

Colour looks quite muted for some reason, but I was in the Apple Store on Saturday, and it's identical.
