Got a few cases delivered.
Apple silicone in terra cotta. Love the earthy tones.
Beats case with kick stand. Interesting cord and magnetic part to stand you phone in landscape mode. Not sure how I feel about it yet. The cord might get annoying. Case material is better as it’s matte and not shiny like last year.

The Terra Cotta is really nice. Reminds me of the old leather cases. Sadly the silicone is too powdery for me to comfortably hold. Does it get better over time? I have two for my 15PM but hardly use them because of that reason.
I read in some review that the Beats is very slippery - can you confirm this?
By the time the silicone is nice to hold, the corners will have worn and the case looks grubby.

Yes they seem to get better. Last year the silicone for 16PM wasn’t too powdery for me
It was slippery last year. This year the case is matte so not that slippery
It’s a lanyard with a small attachment and a magnet inside. There’s only one point on the side of the phone that it clicks onto
Not sure if it’s worth the premium over the base case.
Funny, I‘m the opposite. I love the powdery surface, but it wears off too quickly and then they get sticky.
I just went to check prices, and the Apple store here has taken down their Accessories page as - apparently - I'm not allowed to look at it for a few hours 😁
Anyway ... I wanted to check the price difference. I like the idea of using my new phone (not decided which one yet) in its "standby mode" with the AOD. I can use it when travelling as a bedside alarm clock.
Ive been using the Apple silicone case for my 15pm for the past 2 years now - I prefer them over anything else TBH.
I'm now struggling with a case and phone combo! lol
I do like the orange pro max but other then the orange silicone case none of the other case colors appeal to me with it......
If I get a blue pro max, then the midnight case blends quite nicely, but it will show fingerprints like crazy.....

I saw a case that has optional straps - but not the Apple one. Can't find it anymore - anyone has a link by chance? Maybe was even this thread

In Australia here the Apple silicone and Beats basic case are AUD$79 and the Beats with the kick stand is AUD$99.
Okay just saw these new Pitaka cases and wow they are gorgeous ?
And the two to the right look way more protective.

I’ve had the models on the left and right, which are both very nice. The beefier case in the middle is a new design. Pitaka is mostly known for their ultralight designs—it’ll be interesting to see how the new, more protective case performs.
Wanted to see what the orange phone will look like in this case.
So my workplace just said they submitted my preorder for a 17 pro max in silver. Im assuming since they use a third party for company phones they submittet the order now and then the third party orders when preorder starts (or something). So since im not preordering myself i probably wont have my phone in hand until end of october
