You said you only had yours for a few weeks and now have a permanent ring. I’ve had mine for almost 3 months and place it on the Apple MagSafe charger every night. I have yet to develop a permanent ring. You may have a defective case or using too strong of a charger.
Defective case more likely than too strong of a charger since the same charger didn’t leave any marks on any of my other cases.

No, never tried DBrand but I can tell that Frost Synthesis is one of the best cases!!!
Synthesis has now moved to the top of my rotation due to the ring stain on my paragon. It’s the case that grew on me the most. Gen7 slipped off because of the oily texture and annoying top lip.
I wonder how the other frosted cases such as the dbrand, ghost, frosted rebel etc compare.

:):):)
Omg, I do not have to wait 2 months this time for the new paragon. ;-)

Also, I think the BACK of this is the same texture as the Sheath is all over:

Spigen for iPhone 17 Pro Case,... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FD285J4D?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Very similar feel in hand as far as tightness to phone and etc.
Here’s Sheath and Spigen next to each other. The texture of the back of the Spigen is very similar, but a bit smoother I would say. Also thinner and more flexible, and from reports over on Reddit also doesn’t protect the phone from corner drops. It pops out of the case. I used it for like a day and then retired it. 😅

My Spigen doesn’t seem that lose. The camera control on Spigen is terrible in comparison to Caudabe. I don’t use CC button. Yeah, thank you for pics… interesting none the less. If Spigen could nail texture at their price points…

For those with the Paragon is there any button rattle or do I have to purchase different buttons with the case?
I have very little to no rattle on my Paragon. I have used the buttons that came with it as well as different colored buttons I've ordered. For them to rattle at all I have to really try and I wouldn't even call it a "rattle" The buttons do move a bit as they are supposed to but they are not loose.

Here we are, it’s the middle of January and Caudabe still only offers one case, in two colors, for the Air. Pretty sad. Given that they’ve been claiming to offer “minimalist perfection” for years, you’d think they’d embrace the opportunity to show what they can do for Apple’s “minimalist” iPhone option. I guess, perhaps, that minimalism is no longer actually their thing.
