And you are in tight with Lizard, what a disappointment. Maybe she caught you slipping with that side piece Sarah?
Lol. Its not funny 🤣.

I was proper excited for once they shipped and delivered on time.

Ive emailed them but i think ill probably cancel the order. I think they require you to cut the case and send them pics.

Im looking forward to doing surgery on that Paragon.

I tried Pitaka Sunset yesterday. Fitment was almost perfect, but I kinda don't like classic cases any more. It feels pretty good in hand, very light (only 19g) and thin, but I really miss screen lip, because I used to putting my phone display down a lot and I don't use any screen protector.

Btw. it seems that this your version has bigger bottom cutout.
Yeah, it’s definitely a “screen up” case. And yes, the USB cutout is a little larger which makes it easier on the pinky. They’ve made a couple of other minor adjustments for this release.

I've been coveting a Pitaka case for quite a while. How's the grippiness? Does it stay put in a pocket like a silicone case?
It’s sufficiently grippy, without being sticky like silicone. For me, about perfect. It won’t turn your pocket inside out.

Some people don’t like the cutouts along the edges, which I understand, but they also provide some added grip, which is helpful on the Air because the sides are so thin.

Be aware that the 600D black/gray twill version of this case is smoother and less grippy. All of the 1500D versions with colored patterns are more textured and grippy.

Here we are, it’s the middle of January and Caudabe still only offers one case, in two colors, for the Air. Pretty sad. Given that they’ve been claiming to offer “minimalist perfection” for years, you’d think they’d embrace the opportunity to show what they can do for Apple’s “minimalist” iPhone option. I guess, perhaps, that minimalism is no longer actually their thing.
55 grams for a sheath (piece of rubber) is not minimalist, they lost that years ago.

Here’s Sheath and Spigen next to each other. The texture of the back of the Spigen is very similar, but a bit smoother I would say. Also thinner and more flexible, and from reports over on Reddit also doesn’t protect the phone from corner drops. It pops out of the case. I used it for like a day and then retired it.

Dug my Spigen out. Definitely fits Caudabe Sheath tight fitment. I don’t see how mine could pop out. But yeah, I hear you, I think Sheath is definitely better.

Thanks for info. So I tried pitakagermany.com local EU site for first time and ordered Lucid blue with discount (45EUR). I'm curious, how fast will be shipping and hope, that case will fit well.

Really really like this case. Fits the silver well and looks just so clean. Super tight fit, no gaps anywhere, all buttons are flow through and swappable. And super protective, according to MobileReviewsEh‘s test. Big thumbs up!

With the Sheath… I didn’t know what to expect from the texture, but it does indeed feel like a stone. Not a huge fan, but might grow on me. And the cut outs are not perfectly aligned (the flash is a bit off).
I swapped the buttons for silver (and a blush action button), but I’m not sure I like it. Might swap back to black buttons.

White looks dope with silver phone! I got my Surtect Matte Black yesterday, it's gonna stay in rotation but I feel Synthesis frosted would be a better option for black frosted combo if I had the Pro. I was expecting the materials on the back were molded together seamlessly and more rounded on the back corners (like matte Spigen UltraHybrid with more protection) but they're not. Not a dealbreaker though. Also looks like a 'cracked' line on the bottom frosted part already if I look closely, hope nothing will actually crack if I remove my phone multiple times 😅 Overall I like the look and feel, price is okay, and now I have indicator on both sides of the phone if I use too much hand cream in the winter 😅
