Is that new Surtect worth buying or not?

Have it in my Amazon cart, something is holding me back from ordering
Perhaps it was this: “I had the Surtect last year for the 16PM and it sucked.” 😊

I generally like MobileReviewsEh, but his ratings don’t account much for aesthetics, which is evident by the Surtect being the top rated among 50 tested.

Don't snooze on Thinborne...

What’s the consensus on the mous limitless and phone rebel gen 7? I really want one really protective case for my phone to go along with my techwoven cases but can’t decide on which one.
Between these two, I’d recommend the Mous. I have phased out the PR because I have no idea if it’s protective (nobody has decided to drop test it this time), it collects detritus under the lose top part and the logo in the back is not properly centered on my case.
The Mous fits like a glove and is decently protective. Not as comfortable to hold, though.

ETA: If you want protective and nice to hold, get yourself a Sheath.

Thank you for the information! I’ve been leaning towards the mous. Usually I always went for the otterbox symmetry and it has horrible fitment issues, too much lip on the front screen and will pop up always all screen protectors.

I’m definitely in the minority and I truly do not like the sheath at all. Purchased the synthesis this year and returned it immediately.

@Lowe and Behold You heard back from Caudabe regarding your Azurite order?

I haven’t caught up with the rest of the thread yet, so you may have heard by now, but I’ve woken up this morning to two emails, sent at 12:03am, to say a replacement order has been confirmed.

No mention of having to send back the original case.

Should hopefully receive the replacement case on Thursday.

I got my RM 48 tracking yesterday as well so hopefully the replacement order should be here tomorrow.

I hope you like it! Looking forward to your report. 😊
Pitaka is here. I'm impressed! Perfect fitment (WOW) and parts, where I had problems before - around CC button and USB-C is now perfectly smooth and comfortable. And there is display lip! So I can comfortably put phone with display down.
Only downside is weight - 23g - it's 4g heavier than Sunset version. I hope I can used to it.

It will be great, if they implement this new updates also for older series.

What is wrong with it? I always want to try it, but it hard to get it here from USA.

BTW. New Pitaka arrived 😄

Thinborne used to get people to post reviews on social media and forums and then reimburse the person posting. So this forum got flooded with new users and old users posting reviews of their great brand new Thinborne cases, each one making a new thread so it was obvious what was going on. Also orders off Aliexpress of generic aramid cases looked exactly like the Thinborne with no logo and even came in the same wooden box. The question then would be why get a Thinborne case from them for $60 when you could get the same one for $20 with no crappy logo on it.
