Who needs caudabe when we have the 🐐 TW?

I like the Design of the TW but I don`t like the holes in the bottom for the strap. And also I read so many times that the case is too thin and many people complaint that even with a case on when dropped it scratches the iPhone.

To be honest, I never tried it myself. I am happy with my Open Sheath and Open Paragon. I can`t decise which one I like better. The open cutout on the Paragon is better but the Grip on the backside on the Sheath is better.

I'm surprised more people aren't running it.

Slimmer than the Sheath, feel in hand is similar albeit not as coarse and just looks premium
I’ve seen too many people with scraped or dented phones after a drop in the TW to trust it. And I prefer protection over minimalism. (I’m even thinking about putting some kind of cover on my Apple Watch after I had to request a replacement today for my AW11 with a borked screen… 😒)

My phone has been living in the Sheath since I got the case 9 days ago and honestly, surprisingly, I haven’t even thought about other cases since then 😅

I haven't tried the TW for the same reasons. Don't like the unused lanyard holes and seen a fair few photos of drop damage the case failed to prevent. Love the look though.

Just tried the black buttons on the Ember Paragon again but this time used the black CC button from my Sheath.
I think [mando] this is the way. [/mando]
The CC button makes all the difference and with all black is a great contrast.

The ember CC button looks great with the ember buttons on the black Sheath too.

Caudabe really should sell the CC button in all colours too and maybe include with button packs.

Those who've had to cut in half refunded/replaced cases should salvage all the buttons before throwing away.

It does make me wonder what people do with their phones haha.

The other week, I had my phone, in a TW case, knocked out of my hand by my son. 4-5ft drop, onto concrete. No damage to phone or case.

I do admittedly get a fair amount of dust becuase of the lanyard holes but once a day, I take the case off and wipe the phone anyway so non-issue for me.

Now you have 😉

But honestly, it’s an Apple „non-rugged“ case, one layer of TPU so the phone will absorb most damage. Like all standard Apple cases only protective under certain conditions or with some luck. 🤷🏻‍♀️
Yeah, Apple cases have never been more than “pocket height” protective. And now, with the advent of the heaviest Pro phones ever made, which are unfortunately also now made from aluminum, that is more true than ever.

If I had a Pro Max I would be running a Mous full time.

To be fair, if you look on the subreddit there’s also plenty of people who have had multiple drops and their phone and TW are fine.

Ok i finally went to the apple store and got to try the techwoven case.

I walked out with the blue one and am now returning my caudabe paragon azurite. I do understand when people say their pinky hurts but its not as bad as I thought it would be. This is by far the best case apple has ever made and im going to keep it on until the new fold or 18 pro.

Its light, feels good in the hand and i can see my phones color through its borders. 34g vs 49g for a case is a huge difference especially when im also attaching a magsafe wallet to the back.

TW is taking over at last

Well, of course. There's bound to be. I once dropped a caseless Samsung Galaxy S6 from shoulder height onto concrete and it was miraculously fine. That was not the topic here, though ;)

I meant to respond to your other comment but yeah I’d say it is on the topic here. Moreso for anyone who sees the comments and is dissuaded from getting the case by thinking it doesn’t offer protection.

My Caudabe collection all but sold.

Kept Black Paragon and Celestial Blue Sheath.

Azurite Paragon will be sold too once it’s here.

Money back in case pot all ready for Moonrise.

Message couple of folks on ebay. Lets see.
How many silicone & Techwoven you holding?

I don't have many cases but should dump some myself. My problem is I give them to my daughter, she sells them and I never get to collect any of the money :(

Kids lool.

My little one knicks everything from my money clip once or twice a month lol.

Good thing is he saves it instead of spending it lol.
