The attached JPEG file may be useful for checking if your screen protector is blanking out any pixels (note: not my image, found it posted elsewhere). I have the Touras OrigArmor installed on my 17 Pro Max, and no pixels are being lost on both the horizontal and vertical sides. However, I do lose a little bit on the corners (a bit more on the top corners), but really not enough to worry about. All in all, it's a great screen protector, and I would recommend it.
Pretty much the same with my ESR armorite 7x 9H+

Edit: Having used the picture in a post on here to check.

Good ol shellrus, where $30 of your $75 goes towards packaging 😂View attachment 2556481

Good ol Shellrus, where you have to unscrew hardware to get the protector out

Side Note: @Itsedstech you know why the replacement have a notch for the speaker but the regular doesnt?

The Flolab shipped. I’m very curious about it. It is the most expensive screen protector I’ll apply myself ever. Hearing really good things about it, and the full screen sticker gave me the confidence I can do it.

I have installed tens of screen protectors over the years on iPhones, Samsungs and even Poco’s. Shouldn’t be too difficult.

Yeah the cheapo spare they give you has bigger bezels. With the sapphire I’m assuming they didn’t want to waste any time or risk breaking the sapphire by notching it out so they thinned the bezels enough to not need a notch. If you zoom in you can see one definitely has slightly thicker bezels

I installed one on my 17 Pro Max and the left side had 1-2 pixel width covered. I submitted a warranty claim and they sent me a new one (automatic after submission). I'm hoping it's a one-off, but the one on its way might also cover part of my screen.

does the 16 pro max screen protector fit on the 17 pro max?

I have a couple of 16pm ones just sitting around and looking to save a couple of buck

The speaker notch is longer on the 17 Pro Max but the your protectors should fit. All depends if the speaker area bothers you.

I just tried to realign the Benks GlassWarrior Sapphire and I got it acceptable (still an absolute tiny bit of encroachment that I could have accepted) but then had to start again to remove a tiny speck of dust. Did this about ten times until I gave up and put the Torras OrigArmor on. Was on a losing battle with that.

The OrigArmor went on perfect with zero encroachment! Super happy with it. 😃

5 days into Torras orig armor and I don't notice any scratches yet, but I'm also not going to torture myself and hold it under bright light to look for them. The screen does get quite smudgy but that might be a me issue, but I definitely had less problems with smudges this early on last year.

So a week in with the benks and I love it. I love the matte look and I love that there is always zero fingerprints on the screen.

im seeing some people struggle with putting a protector on. these phone are water resistant, so what i do if im struggling without a proper applicator provided, is I just run the phone and protector under the water and then align and place it as needed. the water will ensure a dust free installation. After you get it on how you want, you just have to squeegee the water out or push it out with your thumbs.

My trick is cover the screen in painters tape right until you place the tray on. Easy full screen dust removal.

I would have waited for the 3D edge version.

Made a post, but then I realized there's an entire thread about this.

I don’t normally go with screen protectors (I have fortunately not broken a screen since the OG iPhone) but, since I have to work with clinical info more and more on my own phone, I decided to get ESR’s privacy “9H glass” protector for my 17 Pro and…I hate it. It’s noticeably diminished the touch sensitivity and actually somehow looks lower-resolution. After some post-purchase research, ESR acknowledges the impact on sensitivity in their FAQs.

Do y’all have a favorite privacy screen protector that doesn’t diminish touch sensitivity?
