Thanks, that worked just fine. Yeah, this screen protector cuts in pretty badly, almost the entire side edge of the screen is covered. The clarity is amazing, but it does feel a bit too small. All the reviewers online rave about this protector, so maybe I just got a defective one? Or should I look for something else, maybe Torras?

I have had the Torras Origarmour installed for three weeks and have no scratches, not even perceptible micro scratches; however, I am careful not to put hard objects, like keys, in the same pocket as my iPhone. It doesn't interfere / obscure pixels of the active screen and is so smooth and imperceptible that you wouldn't know that there was a screen protector installed. Installation was very easy, no dust or bubbles, but I installed it immediately upon receiving my iPhone, which likely helps in that regard. All-in-all, I think it's an excellent screen protector and worth the money.

Yeah my phone will arrive in 10 days same as flolab or Torras. Honestly I don't really care about scratch resistance, my only worry is the apparently abysmal oleophobic coating on flolab which wins in every regards except that. idk if I should just bite the bullet then buy a coating liquid separately or just force myself to like Torras's worse AR coating.

Found this:

I'm currently using UltraGlass, I like it but since I use the oficial clear case, the screen border is very noticeable just like its said on the video. I just ordered the Roxx, since its 3D, its probably better.

I have the new 3D edge flolab own its way. I've installed the Torrras twice. Both had some scratches. The fit is as perfect as I've ever seen, the oleophobic coating is very good, the AR is just OK and the rainbow with polarized lenses is bad.

I do worry if even the new flolab will not fit as well and if it does not, I'll probably buy another torras.

Please give us an update on the new 3D edge when you get a chance to install it. Really curious about the fitment and if it eats into the screen or not.

It’s not looking good for the new Flolab NanoArmour ONETIME PRO according to this review:

That’s a shame, although the one I ordered was the “3D” Infinity Edge that only released in the past few days. The Amazon listing is for the non-3D model they had at launch that doesn’t go as close to the phones edges. Hopefully the 3D one fares better

It should fit fine. Flolab had a 3D edge privacy screen protector available at launch, and reviews have shown the black border does not block any pixels.

The review I posted comes from the same Flolab 3D version they have on their website:

Bought a Torras (not origarmour) for my 17 base model but had issues, it doesn’t align properly. It’s slightly off and the corner lifts with my ESR case. I think it moved slightly when I pulled the installer tab

Check out the video from hightechcheck posted earlier in the thread. It definitely does block pixels. And so do the other flolabs
They didn’t review the 3D edge model. It just came out few days ago, it is impossible to have a review out already (for new iP17 variant)

Has anyone bought Nilkin Pure AR? It seems like it is a good middle ground price performance wise. Well known brand, half the price of torras but still boasts about same level of AR coating. I am thinking about buying this one honestly.

Anyone tried the Flolab Blue Light Protection screen protector? Or is it a gimmick?

I'm not really one for using screen protectors at all TBH, unless there was an added benefit over scratch protection - so was looking at a privacy layer and came across this blue light protection....

On a side note - the privacy screen protectors - do they affect the image quality at all when used normally?

can't decide between the ESR or Spigen
ESR is a 3 pack Armorite Ultra-Tough Tempered Glass with Ultra Fit Tray

Spigen 2 pack Spigen Glas.tR EZ Fit

Which is best and easiest to install, was tempted to go to Apple but they want £40 for 1 screen protector inc instalation

Yeah I found the Amazon review, but that doesn’t have 3D in the title and the graphics are for the non 3D model. The names terrible as they label both “infinite edge”.

Here’s the non-3D one on Flolabs site, that has the same stock images and name as the Amazon listing

Here’s the 3D version that has “3D” in the product name and product images that differ to the Amazon listing. Primarily the main graphic has a dark iPhone where the other uses an iPhone with a light theme

The other give away is there’s Amazon reviews that predate the 3D models release, which was only last week. Amazons earliest review was 30 Sept, which is when the non 3D one was available but not the 3D one.

Again, the product names far too long and convoluted

ESR cuts into the screen with its black border. I wasted 5 protectors and some light bleed on the left and right. Spigen doesn't cut into screen area as it doesn't have a border but you'll see a rainbow like effect from sides. I am so frustrated with protectors this year and my ocd is getting out of control. I am gonna keep my esr on until the flolab privacy 3d whatever it's called comes. Although I have heard mixed reviews I found that it was superior on privacy version as compared to torras or esr but will see when it comes.

Below is a pic for 17 Pro version. All the "L's" on esr are covered by the border. All their versions 2z, 7x and 10x have the same issue.

EDIT: If you're solely looking about the installation then ESR (Ultra Fit) is miles better than spigen ez fit. It auto aligns and removes dust where Spigen is definitely gonna collect some dust particles which you have to clear out after applying.

I left a 1-star review on Flolab’s website for their $40 NanoArmour OneTime Pro screen protector — it posted right away, but when I checked later, it was gone. That’s incredibly shady. The product itself was disappointing: poor fit, light bleed, and overall not worth the premium price. Maybe their 3D variant is better, but I’m definitely not risking another $40.
Would not recommend Flolab.

I had 2 leftover screen Protectors for my iPhone 16 pro max. It’s just the cheap Amazon ones that comes in a pack of 3 for $7.

I installed it on my 17 pro max. Fits great.

I’m normally almost exclusively a Zagg protector person because lifetime replacement BUT tried these Torras; must admit pretty happy with their oleophobic coating. Few weeks in now and not horrendously fingerprinting like I feel Zagg would be.
