Any good protectors for the camera island on the back? I can see that part being scratched up with so much of it exposed now.
Is there a protector like that? I’d like to know too, but I don’t think there is one — at least I haven’t seen any yet. I’ve only seen some phone cases that come with camera protection, but I can’t remember which brand it was. I’ll share it with you next time I come across it.

You can get the Hoda 3D edge screen protector. I have the sapphire screen protector on my 17 Pro, and my wife has the 3D edge matte version on her 17.

Both screen protectors have a perfect fit, and no pixel is blocked by the screen protector.

How do you like it? Does dust / gunk get caught under the edges like on some others? Any light bleed?

I got to know yesterday that there's a new spigen protector with better fitment and install method. It apparently has "Pro HD" in the name and is only available in certain markets. Here are two links

apparently it has no rainbow effect on the side when seeing from the side, no black borders and comes with an install method with an extra step that removes dust like many other protectors do.
I installed one yesterday. The new process is a revolutionary improvement over previous methods. I also did an install this weekend for the wife's 15 refurb.

I got rid of the screen protector. Got tired of the increased reflections you get with sapphire screen protectors. I'm using the torras origarmor at the moment.

Not sure how case friendly the product is, as I only used it with the apple techwoven case.

1) Tested it with the camera screenshot and with an image and everything looked good.
2) No light bleed for me
3) Won't be as good as the OrigArmor since that is a 3D screen protector. So that goes closer to the edge of the phone than non-3D screen protectors. As of October 2025 there are no 3D sapphire screen protectors. And with how delicate sapphire is, I doubt a company will ever make one.

I ordered the same one on AliExpress. It looks exactly the same as the Hoda except for the branding being at the bottom of the glass instead of top like the Hoda. Also got it for $60 on sale unlike Hoda’s $80 for just one piece, and with free returns, I can always send it back if I don’t like it.

Bit the bullet with Torras Origarmour and got it today.

The fitment is indeed perfect. And i don't say that lightly.

Its head and shoulders above the black border WSKEN i was using and i'm actually annoyed at the impact of eating into the screen.

Even the clarity and oleophobic coating seems better in general. AR is ok.

Its a bit stingy that Torras only supply ONE protector. But it also makes me feel better not splurging for Flolab, would've been pissed if it was poorly aligned.

Hopefully i fare well with the scratches and scuffs.

But so far, very happy with it.

Apologies for the weird rotations of the pics. Thats a MR thing.

Does that mean it has anti reflective properties?
No, I meant to say it is a revolutionary install process, instead of fiddling to properly align it, etc. Now there is a shell/cradle which holds the screen protector, you peel off the protective wrap, press the combo over the phone and you get perfect alignment. Anything else is operator error.

Just installed the Flolab 3D and all seems well to me. Does iOS26 not show the corner borders anymore so you can see if the protector is cutting off the display?

You did the right thing brother. There is no match for Torras Origarmor this year.

GOAT Screen Protector.

No they removed them in iOS 26 but others have posted an image you can use to do the same check. I have the same 3D Flolab sitting in the box. Waiting for a backup torras in case it doesn’t fit as well.

The torras fit is simply perfect. It’s smoother and the oleophobic coating is excellent. I’ve already had 2 and they both had scratches out of the box and they seem to scratch easily. Guessing it’s their AR coating.

Last years 3d Flolab fit very well. It did seem to allow more dust to stick the edges vs the torras. The anti reflective and polar spectra features are the best out there.

Not sure what I want to do. Will probably try the Flolab and if the fit is good and it doesn’t become an edge dust magnet I’ll keep it. Otherwise I’ll put a 3rd torras on and hope it installs as well as the first 2 but with no noticeable scratches.

If you do a review, these are the two best out there this year. Let us know about the edges and dust sticking.

It’s kind of hard to get a straight on pic but it does seem that the Flolab 3D cuts into the display a tad. I guess I have to use one that doesn’t to really tell how bad it is. It doesn’t seem by much but from looking at the picture above with the Torras, it’s for sure cutting into the display.

Dust is something I have to see over time but of course so far so good Aiden it’s fairly new on my display.

Try this image, this might be better way to see how much it is cutting into the display.

Can you give us an update / review on the Flolab whenever you get a chance to put it on. Been waiting on a review from you and the other guy @Smigit. Thanks in advance.

I have the Touras Origarmour installed and using the above image I can fully see the white edge all the way around, even on the very corners. So, that would suggest, no pixels lost at all using this screensaver.

Just to note, almost a month since I installed it and no scratches of any type are evident on the surface.

Still waiting on it to arrive sorry. Just checked the tracking and it appears to have arrived in country in the past 24 hours. So should be tomorrow or the day after.

Mine will be for a 17 Pro Max btw.

Thanks for sending that over.

So here is how the Flolab 3D fits. Honestly I never paid that much attention to protectors and how precise they fit on the display, probably why I never dive deep into them on the channel but I think the protector still cuts into the display justttttt a tad maybe. It’s so close I don’t think it will bother my but I just ordered a Torras so I’m going to compare once that one comes in since I’m seeing that fit is perfect.

That looks the same as the 3D Edge 16PM version did for me. Barely cuts into the screen but it's so slight I would not consider that a factor here. My main complaints were the FloLab was a dust magnet around the edges. Not sure why it was worse than the Torras but it was. The FloLab didn't seem to come as close to the edge of the iPhone frame as the Torras. This years Torras especially is a really good fit. The FloLab oleophobic coating was not great.

Does the FloLab have a slight notch for the top speaker to allow sound to pass freely?

It's going to be a tough choice for me and I'll probably need to use the FloLab fro a while to see if its benefits outweigh there Torras. Mainly AR and PolarSpectra vs slightly better fit and possibly less dust sticking to the edges (even with a case)

Yeah I was goin to say it seems so slight that I wouldn’t consider this an issues but I have the Torras coming tomorrow so I will compare. Right now after using it for a day it doesn’t have dust around the edges and I know what you mean because that drives me crazy about a screen protector. So far the Flolab has been good but will compare with the Torras and report back.

Look forward to your findings. Sucks we have to waste a perfectly good install to test another!

Tell me about it but glad I popped in here because I always slapped whatever protector on but this will make me focus a little harder I have always personally used Flolab and called it a day. Will for sure pop back in here when I try to Torras out.

Can anyone comment on the oleophobic coating Torras vs Flolab?

Got the Flolab 1st batch (now renamed "case friendly") and while I can live with the fit/display alignment issues I've actually been more disappointed in the oleophobic coating. I don't consider my hands particularly oily but the screen seems to be more prone to smudging and visible fingerprints than I'm used to seeing...

Debating whether to switch to Torras OrigArmor or just upgrade to the Flolab 3D Infinity since their CS gave me a code for 50% off

Also considering the Caudabe CrystalShield Elite AR but I don't see too many comments about that one.

Thank you for that!

For laughs I checked this on my phone (using the UNBREAKcable screen protector I showed off a few days ago) and I see a very rainbowy line around the edges! :D As expected LOL.

Meh I am still probably going to just get the belkin protector next time I go to the mall. These other brands' 3D protectors sound interesting though. Are they less likely to attract dust around the edges?
