How are you liking the camera protector you got? My xtremeskins one is holding good but i got those ones you mentioned you ordered in and was bored so wanted to switch
I peeled it off as it was throwing off the Sheath precise case. They are thicker than the average skin.
I ordered some different ones from AliExpress and still waiting for them to show up.

Let me know how you feel about the X-One plateau protectors, if you try them?

Thanks for this! I was legit about to order the plateau skin to go with my precise Sheath, but it’s out the window now. Care to elaborate more about it?

I have some clear stickers that I purchased from AliExpress and I used them with the Caudabe precise Paragon and it didn’t get in the way of the plateau being covered up, so I ordered more, also because I’m caseless 99.99% of the time so I want the camera plateau to be covered.

The regular thin plateau skins should work Ok with precise cases. The one I'm talking about are the ones from X-One. The X-One's are fine if you are only going to use open plateau cases.

Here are a couple pics of the Sheath with the X-One installed. Plus, the orange of the phone was showing on the front top (TechWoven Style) with this plateau installed.

So the Xtreme works fine?

Yeah, I had a clear matte and now black matte plateau skin from Xtremeskinz and both have no issues with Sheath or Tank.
Just ordered the back, sides and plateau cuz it was on sale. Will report back if there’s issues with the back and sides on the Sheath.

My Torras Origarmor is deteriorating pretty quick and Im always very careful with my iPhone.

Time to replace it.
This is my experience as well. The OrigArmor isn't holding up as well as my last Torras screen protector that I had on my iPhone 15 for two years. I don’t ever have keys in the same pocket as my phone, so I am surprised at the level of scratching after a couple of months. I won’t buy the OrigArmor again. Not impressed!

So what is the consensus best screen protector currently for the 17 Pro Max?
I think it's between Spigen, Torras OrigArmour and Flolab 3D. I use privacy screen protector so ymmv

Spigen is most bang for the buck and doesn't suffer from screen area cutting off but edges aren't as rounded and there is rainbow effect on all the sides. No AR coating.

Flolab 3D is what I am using and it is good but the installation wasn't properly aligned which made my protector lift up when putting on a case and it left 2-3 bubbles. I have used their lifetime warranty to order another one but it's excruciatingly slow. It's still in china since November 19th. I used the privacy one and I like it so far, it has a good AR coating and some other nice little things like polarized glass that doesn't rainbow the screen that much but they should give an option for expedited shipping. It's painful seeing my order crawl like a tortoise. Lifetime warranty is a plus imo. It takes them 2-3 weeks just to deliver where I live.

Torras, I have no clue but people swear by it so it must be good except for the issue about scratches coming up in this thread. It had good AR coating as well but doesn't have any polarize layer which makes the screen rainbow if you wear sunglasses. They don't offer privacy guard under OrigArmour version so it got eliminated from my list quite early.

I have also tried ESR, their oleophobic coating is amazing but it cuts into display on all edges which they say is "by design". Couldn't unsee it once I saw it and shifted to Flolab. Also, it doesn't have any AR coating unless you buy 10x version but even then it's poorly rated. If I were to use ESR I would stick with armourite

For me it's Flolab>Spigen>Torrras>ESR

Some other options that I haven't tried but have me intrigued are Magic John and Prism 2.0 (DBrand) but I am done experimenting. I will stick with Flolab 3D.

Alright flolab 3d is on Amazon now. Ordered 2 yesterday they came in today, first install was terrible, too high up so wouldn’t stick. 2nd one installed 99% right, so it’s staying. For some reason the last torras I put on my phone was being lifted randomly by my phonerebel gen 7. The first one I had installed didn’t do that. Looks like I’m gonna have to suck up the battery slight screen cut off. But at least it’s even all around. Time to ship the first one back lol

Could you please share a link to it? Wanna make sure I order the correct one.

My x-one works perfectly fine with the sheath precise, slight bleed on the volume buttons area but i just had to push the phone further in the case and its fits just right

Ahhhh hell nah I’m sending mine back
How long did it take before Shellrus issued your refund after it was delivered? Did you have to email and bug them about it?

Mine was returned back on Monday 11/17, yet no word or refund from them even though return label email states it will be issued 3-4 days after receiving it.

I ended up messaging them like a week and a half after it was delivered to them and they then refunded me like the next day. So definitely message them.
