This is an iPhone model I’m genuinely interested in for the first time in a long while. But if it has that huge camera bump, I won’t buy it. Even regular iPhone has smaller bump.

I have seen many renders of this so called air phone and i plan staying far a way from this phone not a big fan of only having one camera on the back👎🏻

Looks good, I will upgrade from my 15 Pro when the notch / dynamic island has its next shrink iteration

I'll assume there's a good reason for the new horizontal bars. They could make the flashlight bigger.
Ever since I saw this particular render, the idea of a small screen under the black glass on right side hit me. It could work similar to the Dynamic Island for alerts when the phone is face down. I'm getting Touch Bar vibes with all that unused glass area.

Or (drum roll...)

Guess what else would fit perfectly in that space? Widgets! Okay, it might be a little small for the Air with the height of only one lens, but imagine the bigger height needed by the 3 lenses on the Pro versions of the phone. Perfect!

Pixel ripoff, shows Apple can't come up with its own unique design. Having said that I kinda like the black glass bar except we're in 2025 and there's no need for an extra bump just for the lens.

I fail to see the point of "ultra thin." Phones are thin enough the way they are. No one cares if they "save" another 2 millimeters. In fact, if I could get more battery life I would like a phone 2 mm thicker than my 16 Pro Max.

But as I reflect, maybe this is really a prototype for the thinness needed for a foldable phone. But still, I think that is a manufacturing Beta and consumers are not going to care one bit about 2mm.

The design seems to be good. A single camera only is disappointing. Would have liked to have two cameras like the S25 edge. Other than that the new iPhone seems like it will be a good one.
