I installed the Celestial Blue buttons on it and it just didn’t do it for me. Personally I think it looks best with its intended black aluminum buttons. I love the stealth premium vibe it gives with the subtle Deep Blue pops of color only around the precise cutout in the back.

If you have and are using the new Apple 40w dynamic power adapter, does your phone get hot while charging?

I just charged my phone again with this charger and my phone gets mighty hot while charging 🙁

This can't be good for the battery.

Questions for those with caudabe cases

1. Did your case come a bit dusty? Mine did. Mainly on the inside along the edges and camera plateau.

2. How do I know if my sheath has the updated buttons? I ordered on Black Friday weekend. With the phone in there is some rattle if I shake it around a bit. Not sure if the new buttons eliminated the rattle completely or not.

Allegedly if the case came with installation instructions it's the new batch with updated buttons. My case that I bought 3 weeks ago also has a slight rattle from the buttons if I shake the phone, and I have the new batch.

Earlier in this thread I was complaining about the fact that Pitaka changes the names of their cases every year. Now it appears they’re doing it every 3 months… lol.

It really seems like they could eliminate the middle case they’re now calling the “Cairn”. In my opinion, the confusion is caused more by that case than by the names. Maybe I’m missing something, but it doesn’t seem to have a clear purpose and overlaps too much with the “Summa”.

It arches upwards because the center area of the case is almost flush with the screen. I don’t have a screen protector so there’s a tiny lip but I’ve seen reviews and they say it is flush in the center with a screen protector.

The bottom lip arching upwards is a little higher than the Sheath’s all around lip but I wouldn’t say it’s that significant. I’ve swiped multiple times after reading your post to see and personally I don’t find it to be an annoyance.
