What makes it not hold up?

Just wondering what do you have to do to make it wear and not hold up well long term.

I don’t foresee that being an issue for someone who isn’t rough with their device. It’s obviously not a beater type case or rugged.

Reviews I’ve seen on Amazon are people with gashes on their cases obviously from some sort of mishandling.
Honestly I handled it really well- I’m never rough with my devices. The leather started peeling in random places on its own. Not sure if it was the friction from putting it in my pockets and taking it out over time or what but yeah that was unfortunate. It kind of reminded me of the Apple leather cases from the 12 series and on where the leather eventually peels, regardless of handling it with care, and doesn’t patina like the real leather cases from before.

There’s reviews that mention this as well on Amazon, twitter, Reddit, etc. and it’s not cause by any sort of drops or roughhousing.

Oh wow ok. I’ve had it for about a week and will run it for a while. I’m curious to see what happens.

I heard whoosh isn't good for screens...

I learned a hard lesson in the past when the "screen cleaner" from a reputable brand removed the AR coating from my monitor screen.

One of the basic rules of detailing is to use the appropriate product only as harsh as the task requires.

A dry microfiber cloth will handle most daily grime. Wetted for a little more effectiveness. Distilled water for static display screens if one wants to go a bit farther.

But in the accessory market, if they can find people who will pay for cleaners in unit quantity pricing that rivals alcoholic spirits, more power to them. I'd rather spend that dough on a something I can consume and savor, not to wipe my screen.

$7.00 Spigen VS $85.00 Pitaka, Who ya got?

I like the "borderless" look better, regardless of pattern. But the real irony is both of them probably cost about $5 to produce.

Hey, I thought you didn’t like leather cases?
Leather for sure not my first choice. I will never get over Apple leather cases. That said quality of this Italian leather is extremely good and I might ask them to make me some custom sleeves.

They have asked me to use the case as an average user and not baby it, which believe it or not is proving very difficult.

Wow. After I bought watch strap from Moft I decided to buy one more + 1 case for my 17 pro. Amazon price for both is £85 ,Moft price from their website is £60 🤪
Has anyone ordered from their website? I'm curious how long it takes for delivery?

MOFT case really is a lot nicer than I was expecting!

Been in the Otterbox Defender XT clear case for about a week. Really liking it. With the pro sized phone I actually appreciate a bulkier case as it makes the phone easier to hold onto for me. Maybe if you have smaller hands it wouldn’t be the case but this width feels natural to hold. Buttons work great, camera control works excellent and has a matte finish. I also like the regular defender but the fit around the screen is sloppy, you can see the frame of your iPhone here and there. Still like it but the XT is definitely a better fit. If I had to change one thing I’d like it if they included the alignment magnet for esthetic reasons, but that’s the only thing.
