I have actually dropped it twice so far from about trouser pocket height. Once to carpet and the other time onto a tiled floor which my heart skipped a beat. So far no damage I can see on the phone or the case, but I might have been lucky. I dont think it will be as protective as more rugged ones, i.e the dBrand Tanks etc etc, but im sure it is a bit more than the Ultra slim models ones they have. It's enough for my needs.

Frosted Synthesis would easily be my choice. I’ve been loving it, great case imo! But I thought you weren’t impressed by its fit wishing it had a tighter fit like the Paragon.

Personally not a fan of the Tank’s busy design plus its 60g+ weight but a lot here seem to love it.

All personal preference really.

If this is for your sister weren’t you set on getting the Tank despite the religion issue with the illuminati eye?

From your previous posts about both of those cases I thought that neither of these cases would have been considered options for you.

I am a bit in a case dilemma right now.
I settled for my abyss blue Synthesis as my black one has a small crack at the back. I don`t know how that happened. IT is small but it annoys me.
I loved the blue with my blue iPhone but the material is absolute crap. After only 2 weeks of normal use, the blue front lip gets brownish (see picture). It looks dirty but it can`t be cleaned. I tried everything.

So I also love my open Paragon but I am always scared with the lowered Screen lip on the side. Specially because I will be on a City trip this weekend I need something more protective. So I checked my drawer and saw that I ordered a Spigen Enzo Aramid in September but I never used it. I just installed it and I quite like it for now.
I guess that will be my setup for the City trip and when I am back, I will switch to the Paragon again. The feeling is just too good.

And caudabe got an E-Mail from me. Let`s see what they say.

Oh I have bought the Tank for my sister.

This case is for me. I think the Abyss Blue would go well with my blue 17 Pro Max, but not sure about the fit.

Did the black frosted Synthesis front lip change colour as well?

It’s probably more protective than it looks, with the double layered aramid and TPU. Especially since the aramid fibers wrap around the edges. They only tested it on the 1,22m drop though, so they don’t trust it either 😂 Still, it’s gorgeous. If only it didn’t cost an arm and a leg….

To be fair, the Pitaka didnt cost me anything. They refunded me the full cost of it as told them about the tiny nick on the camera surround when I got it. Their customer service is pretty good and im about to buy another Pitaka related kit from them as soon as they have it in stock.

I have a blue Dbrand ghost coming tomorrow, which should look nice with my blue 17PM. I am going to give the ghost another try. I did not like the black version, but I think that was mainly because of the loose CC button, which shouldn’t be an issue on this new one.
