Never had any interest in Aulumu Aramid Fiber cases. I don’t care for sideless cases, not a fan of plain black aramid fiber unfortunately it is the worst for fingerprints and smudges, also I don’t care for the overly designed look of the Aulumu case.
About the Pitaka, I already know it offers minimal protection against drops, I’m not concerned about that and anyone who uses these types of cases or goes caseless should know that. I’ve been using ultra thin for 2 years now, I’m over that fear.
And yes AC+ does not cover cosmetic damages you’re correct.

I’ve been doing that for so many years with my iPhones. They’re IP68 rated there should be absolutely no fear of running it under water.

Süti has some colors I want to buy but I told myself, no more phonebacks from them, and I doubt their 17PM phonebacks will be compatible with the 18PM.

I use a screen protector and wipe my phone and screen down everyday with a 70% isopropyl alcohol wipe. I work outside and I hate to lay my phone down at home after touching so many dirty, germy things outside and at work.

The leather is probably nice, but I prefer plastic for a “rugged” case, which is going to be far more scratch and moisture resistant. FYI, the plastic back is specifically PET, which is not often used in phone case construction. You’ll see it most frequently used for water bottles and food containers.

Last year, I got a big scratch on my 16 Pro Max. I went to the Apple Store and told them it was really annoying me and that I had AC+. They immediately offered for me to pay £79, and they replaced it with a new one.

They've slightly changed their T&C's this year though haven't they in terms of cosmetic damage? Doesn't it have to stop the phone being able to be used?
Would make sense given the inferior materials used and the increase in cosmetic claims

Honestly, with this year's aluminum „cardboard“ iPhone, it would be so easy to do enough damage to get it covered by AppleCare+. If that tiny mark on my antenna band bothered me that much, it would - oops - somehow slip out of my hand outside. 😂(But I won't give my device up, my display is too amazing.)
