Really???Also Apple Care does not cover cosmetic damage like scratches.

Never had any interest in Aulumu Aramid Fiber cases. I don’t care for sideless cases, not a fan of plain black aramid fiber unfortunately it is the worst for fingerprints and smudges, also I don’t care for the overly designed look of the Aulumu case.Better than the Aulumu Aramid Fiber?
The case looks great but offers minimal protection against drops. Also Apple Care does not cover cosmetic damage like scratches.
Mmmmh… 😳😬 Ok, why not, will try it. 👍🫣🤣
I’ve been doing that for so many years with my iPhones. They’re IP68 rated there should be absolutely no fear of running it under water.Run it under water😱
I mean, I’ve also taken it into swimming pools and nothing bad happened. LolRun it under water😱
Thanks, will give a black one a go, 20% off on Amazon here.To me, no. Nomad cases have concave sides, so I end up gripping only on the sides—never touch the back edges. YMMV on this.
The magnets are to Apple specs, same for Mous. Most reviewers rate MagSafe as stronger=better, so they do poorly in reviews. Some people also prefer super strong magnets. Personally, I prefer Apple-spec magnets so I’m not constantly lifting chargers and skewing car mounts with overly strong magnets. I’ve never had a phone fall off a mount with either this case or the Mous.
I only had 1 for 16 pro and now 1 for 17 max, both Bellroy leather and both were free lolOr maybe it’s a sign that we case lunatics (I definitely qualify) should just buy one case and use it for the life of the phone like normal people. 😉
Love the Nomad ruggedI had 1 for 16 pro and now 1 for 17 max, both Bellroy leather and both were free lol
Till I just ordered Nomad rugged 😉
A lot of you guys prefer the plastic instead of the leather back.
Yes, I sure do.A lot of you guys prefer the plastic instead of the leather back.
Süti has some colors I want to buy but I told myself, no more phonebacks from them, and I doubt their 17PM phonebacks will be compatible with the 18PM.Nice but $50!?! 😳
I use a screen protector and wipe my phone and screen down everyday with a 70% isopropyl alcohol wipe. I work outside and I hate to lay my phone down at home after touching so many dirty, germy things outside and at work. What do you guys clean your iPhone screen with, even if you have a screen protector installed? I have heard many conflicting things about what you should and shouldn't use to clean your iPhone screen. Some people recommend just using water and an microfibre cloth, but water leaves streaks imo. I know some people also use glasses wipes, but I have also heard some people say they are not good to use on iPhone screens.
Does anybody have any good recommendations?
The leather is probably nice, but I prefer plastic for a “rugged” case, which is going to be far more scratch and moisture resistant. FYI, the plastic back is specifically PET, which is not often used in phone case construction. You’ll see it most frequently used for water bottles and food containers.A lot of you guys prefer the plastic instead of the leather back.
Sorry Rocky Blue 🤦🏻♂️Tropical Blue?

Here’s the leather version. On my phone today.
These? These little towels are the absolute best for cleaning your screen off. No liquid needed.
The light purple ones are also real good, just a little thinner.

This is what I use too. It works well for me 🙂On most days, a dry microfiber cloth. On occasion, the same microfiber but dampened with a drop of water. Been doing that for many years with no issues.
I wouldn't bet able to run it under water either - even if it's safe. My brain couldn't handle it 🤯Run it under water😱
I give you all credit (not joking. I just couldn't bring myself do it...I mean, I’ve also taken it into swimming pools and nothing bad happened. Lol
Last year, I got a big scratch on my 16 Pro Max. I went to the Apple Store and told them it was really annoying me and that I had AC+. They immediately offered for me to pay £79, and they replaced it with a new one.And yes AC+ does not cover cosmetic damages you’re correct.
They've slightly changed their T&C's this year though haven't they in terms of cosmetic damage? Doesn't it have to stop the phone being able to be used?Last year, I got a big scratch on my 16 Pro Max. I went to the Apple Store and told them it was really annoying me and that I had AC+. Yeah I would. You trust it if a chest high drop?
Honestly, with this year's aluminum „cardboard“ iPhone, it would be so easy to do enough damage to get it covered by AppleCare+. If that tiny mark on my antenna band bothered me that much, it would - oops - somehow slip out of my hand outside. 😂(But I won't give my device up, my display is too amazing.)They've slightly changed their T&C's this year though haven't they in terms of cosmetic damage? Would make sense given the inferior materials used and the increase in cosmetic claims
